Best joint tape
This is the best thing a DIYer can ever use for joints. I feel sad that only come across it at the last plastering project. Easy to use, and so far hasn't cracked like every other tape I have used. The fibre glass can be irritating and ichy to use, but as I am only using it once in while, it didn't bother me even without gloves.

Great item. Covered a reappearing crack in a ceiling with no problem.

Requires skill.
I found this stuff difficult to use on a ceiling repair. It kept on sagging away from the surface, thus rendering (excuse the pun), useless. I guess I don't have the skill required as a DIY plasterer to not get it so wet, so my verdict is that this isn't suitable for a DIYer.

FibaFuse Paperless Drywall Joint Tape
Excellent option for joint tape, especially in areas where you want to limit buildup of spackle. Very thin and porous, yet strong due to its fiberglass mat construction. I used it on cracks that developed between drywall sheets on ceilings. It is thinner and lighter than paper tape, lays down well and trims well.
