Is it possible to use on more than a couple of occasions before the top clogs up making it unusable long before the contents run out?

The nozzle does clog with the set glue. However, after leaving the used tube for several months, I wanted to use it again and found that I could unplug the nozzle with a piece of stiffish wire. I just gave the wire one good push and that was it. The glue then came out perfectly, and worked perfectly. I've been a while answering but I've only just used it for the second time.

Yes, I believe it will. It is very strong. I stick plastic coated metal to varnished wood and it works well. It's a real Superglue!
