This Easel was a big hit for Christmas. My 2yr old and my 6yr old haven’t stopped playing with it since, easily the most played with toy they received. The easel arrived quickly, beautifully presented, with instructions and was easy to build. I appreciated that it came with all the accessories you need to get started, a pack of chalk, marker pen, little storage pots, a chalkboard and whiteboard eraser which even has a magnet to keep on the board which is a nice touch. My girls especially liked having a chalkboard and a whiteboard eraser so they both had one each for their side of the board. The Easel looks good, is height adjustable, the chalkboard and the whiteboard are good quality (Both sides of the board do have a clear film on them for protection which needs be removed before use) The boards are magnetic which is what I was looking for in an easel. I like that the whiteboard side has a clamp for your paper which is easier to use, more flexible and convenient than having to buy paper rolls. The little dowels that hold the storage tray In place just pull out, which means you can fold it flat in seconds. I was pleased with this as I particularly wanted an easel that could fold easily as we are short on space. Ideally I wish the height was taller as it is too low for my 6yr old to stand and use but she just sits to use which is probably comfier anyway. All in all we are delighted with this purchase and would highly recommend. Very good value.

Very easy to assemble, I love how you can raise or lower the height- meaning you can actually get longer use out of this. Bought for Christmas for an 18 month old and with being able to extend it I know it will be perfect for many years. Has magnetic whiteboard with clip on one side as pictured. And a chalkboard on the opposite side. Both have protective films on them to save the boards in transit. Paint pots sit in the tray section nicely in pre cut holes. A lovely item and a perfect gift. My little one will get a lot of use out of this.

This is an excellent easel. I could not believe an easel from such a prestigious firm as Jacques of London would be sold at this very low price. It is attractive and very sturdy. The blackboard surface is excellent . Both sides are magnetic and the paper holder on whiteboard is of great quality. Other boards in this price range are wobbly and look cheaply made. It also comes with excellent accessories - paint pots, chalk, board marker and 2 erasers. It came well packed with a personalised note - a lovely touch. I could not be happier - I have bought quality at a bargain price.

My daughter loves it, that's the main thing. My only disappointment is the fact in the box there were loads of the red screw things and only 4 of them would actually tighten properly. My other half ended up having to add extra screws to hold the legs steady otherwise there was way too much movement (side to side as well as up and down). However the board is a lovely size easily holding A3. The white board is fab along with the chalk board. Good value for money considering how cheap it is and what you actually get. Very simple to put together (minus the screw issue) very happy with it! Even if we did have to adapt it a little. Easily 5 stars if we hadnt had to have done that.

Delighted with this product. It was easy to assemble, comes with all the supplies a child needs to enjoy lots of fun while also learning. As it is height adjustable it will provide years of fun to come. I bought the Jaques of London magnetic letters and numbers to go along with the easel and was pleased with the quality of both. The only comment I would make is that the clear film was very difficult to remove from both the chalk board and whiteboard and we have been left with a slight ragged edging on both. I’m sure through time it will come off but an improvement to consider for the manufacturer.

I bought this wonderful product for my 19 month old son who loves to draw on the white memo board we keep on the fridge, as soon as he saw this very well made and sturdy easel his eyes lit up and he’s spent the entire weekend since he got it drawing, chalking and painting. The entire package is lovingly made, the instructions to assemble the unit could be a little clearer but I didn’t have any problems working it out from the images on the instructions. The accessories you receive with the easel are good and very useful to have. All in all, I was very impressed with this item and would recommend it, and the brand, to anyone.

As with every Jaques product I’ve purchased, the first thing that always stands out is that it arrives packaged and wrapped beautifully. I’m amazed such competitively priced products can have so much sense of occasion to unwrapping them! Most importantly the contents are exactly what you expect, build is quick and easy. A couple of insights are that there is a thin layer of protective film covering the blackboard side that needs to be removed before use. And the finger nuts do not need to be over tightened, but if you do the kit comes with some spares. I know it says 3+, but height wise it fits my 2.5 yr old daughter (who is still in 18-24mths clothing) on the lowest setting perfectly. And there’s lots of scope for growth of both! Great for outdoor use as well as the weather improves.

Bought for my 2 year old birthday gift he lives it. Really happily surprised with quality. Beautiful bit of art kit can't believe the quality even the box was amazing, beautifully wrapped, made in UK , family business, even got a card inside hand written saying who had packed it. My little boy has played with it everyday si CE and can be a little rough handed but it's held up so well and even better height adjustable so will last him years! Recommended for all my nephew's already
