PAVILIA Hooded Blanket Poncho for Women, Fleece Wearable Shawl Wrap, Red

I'm bordering on 5'2" and I feel like Im wearing a blanket that goes down past my mid calfs. Wearing it, I also feel like I'm royalty in Shakespearian play because it's so plush and voluminous. I will not be wearing this outside the house. That said, its extremely warm, soft and cozy and just what the doctor ordered in these ongoing sub zero temps and windchill. I have a robe similar in material and fleece trim which is kinda a dog hair magnet and the fleece cuffs get dirty. I will not be wearing this to cook, do dishes, etc because on my robe, its hard to get the trim really clean. And the button holes are tight but no big deal. But I'm sitting here in a cold living room with 9 degree temps outside and am loving it! I just need a crown to complete the look.

I bought the PAVILIA Angel Wrap Hooded Blanket | Throw Poncho Wrap with Soft Sherpa Fleece in the Red & Black Buffalo Plaid. It is so soft, cozy and pretty too. It's perfect for some extra warmth over my shoulders and the back of my neck and head. I work in a chilly office at a computer desk all day, so this has been a comfortable, easy and attractive solution. I love it so much that I just bought another one for me to use at home! The Red and Black check color and the Wine color makes for nice Holiday Hooded Capes too! I do have a bit of an issue with the side buttons facing towards the back and that they do not hold the sides of the Poncho closed very well. The buttonholes seem too big and they stretch even larger with wear! I've given up trying to resew the hole smaller as it keeps stretching, so I finally just removed those 2 side buttons and wear these like you would wear a cape. The fabric is super soft and these Ponchos are beautiful with the contrasting creme colored sherpa trim. The blanket fabric is not super thick, but it is plush enough to keep me cozy while I'm at work, or at home when I relax. I'm really lovin' these ponchos very much! UPDATE 03/03/2020: I use these Blanket Ponchos every day in my office and at home too. Although I still love these Ponchos, I have had to return several of them because of quality issues. On every one of these, the buttonholes for the arms are either too big or they stretch out after a day or two, so they don't keep the sides closed. That is not too big a deal for me as I finally just removed the side buttons. (FYI: This should not be happening on any of these ponchos!) BUT, what has me returning some of the latest of these Ponchos I've bought, (in Jan & Feb of 2020), is that I have gotten several which end up being very short in the back, have bad sewing, hang uneven in the front, and the hoods fit too small. The ponchos that I bought last November/December in 2019 hang off my body perfectly! They hang evenly from front to back when I have them on. In other words, they are just as long in the back as they are in the front, which is what I want! They are even in the front, the hood is generous and comfortable and they were well made. But, the last few Ponchos I've bought in January/February 2020 all have quality issues! - They hang about 6 to 8 inches shorter in the back, so I don't get the rear coverage I need. - They hang unevenly in the front by about 2 inches longer on one side. It appears that the front placket buttons/buttonholes were sewn in the wrong places! - The hoods fit smaller now too, like for a short neck. - The stitching is not as nice on these later ones either. - The pockets come loose right out of the package. - One even had the Sherpa trim not sewn to the blanket fabric in several spots so there was a hole! I just get so disappointed when I find something I truly love, then the manufacture tries to cut their costs by reducing material and quality, thinking customers won't notice. Well, we ARE noticing! I see that as I have read through some of the other reviews! I hope this company will read these reviews too, and then go back to making these Ponchos better again. UPDATE 10/29/2020 on the NEW Fully Shrepa Lined Wraps: I saw the there is now a heavier, fully lined Sherpa version of this wrap, so I ordered some of them. They are a lot heavier but super cozy and extra warm! So, now I am totally LOVE these warmer Sherpa lined Wrap/Blanket/Poncho/Capes! I liked the unlined ones for most of the year in a chilly office, but for late Fall and all Winter long, these fully Sherpa lined ones perfect! The only problem with these New Sherpa Lined Wraps is still the same problem the unlined ones always have! The the side arm hole buttonhole stretches out after a few minutes and then won't keep the cape arms buttoned closed. I always end up doing a quick sew on the arm buttonholes to make them smaller, but I think I'm going to just permanently sew them closed. The colors I bought the heavier fully Lined Sherpa Poncho/Capes are: Checker Red - (A Red and Black Buffalo Plaid, and it's my fave.) Wine - (Very pretty, deeper Red for the Holidays) Blue Snowflake - ( Another Pretty one for Winter) Red Snowflake - (The Red on this one is kind of a Coral Red, and not a true Red.) Anyway, now I am upping my Review Rating back up to 5 stars for these NEW, Awesome Sherpa lined Poncho/Wrap/Capes! I hope this updated review on the NEW full Sherpa lined ones help out the chilly folks! To the SELLER... It makes it very difficult to do a good review when there are different versions of these Poncho Capes on the same ad. UPDATE 03/05/2023: Although I have bought a lot of these capes in lots of different colors, and although I do love them for using at my home office desk, I am rather disappointed that the soft, cream colored Sherpa fur border, around where it hits you at the wrist and forearms, gets to feeling very stiff and rough from wearing it. The Sherpa fabric does not stay soft and fluffy anywhere that it comes in contact with your arms because of friction. It eventually matts down and gets very rough feeling at the edges.

I really adore how soft and comfortable this is. I intend to use it as a blanket shawl so it's not just for pajamas. It's relatively lightweight but it's warm and seems pretty good quality. I was dumb and didn't read the instructions to wash it with cold water so the trim is no longer white (a soft pink now) but it retained the soft quality that it had. I actually just ordered and received the black one too because I really enjoy this one. No funky smell on opening.

love this thing so much and the red color is amazing. It seems sturdy enough but only time will tell I bought the fleece one and it's soooooo soft! It's light enough to move around in and still warm and cozy. I wish they would make the button holes smaller. The constant button slipping through the hole got annoying really fast so I had to close part of the button hole on my own.

Very comfortable and a great addition when you need a bit extra to stay warm. Size is great as well as the quality. Really came in handy during the winter.

I absolutely loved this product! It is lightweight, but warm. Some that I looked at were short in the front and long in the rear. Who needs that? If you are cuddled up watching TV, why would you want to be sitting on it? This is long in the front which means if you are sitting on the sofa, it will also cover your legs. I love that it buttons in the front so you don't have to pull it over your head to get it on and off. I also loved that your hands can be free to do other things while cozy. The only negative is the buttonholes are poorly made and cause it to keep coming undone. I, for one, would have preferred more attention paid to that aspect and the could have saved money by forgoing with the hood. Overall though, I am very happy with my purchase.

I bought it for my girlfriend who lives in Montana and it keeps her warm in the winter! Perfect fit!

I bought for myself but once my mother tried it on she immediately wanted it. Soft and comfortable. Perfect for wearing around the house. The pockets are a nice size I could put my phone in one and television remote in other and still have room for other things. I got the gray color originally and I just ordered a sea blue one. I like the fact that it is longer in the front than the back. I also like the fact that it fits me because I am a plus size person. My mom who is elderly likes it because it has buttons in the front and she doesn't have to pull it over her head. I only found one loose thread on the whole blanket and it was on one of the buttons it was a easy fix.

Very soft and will be great for my Mother who is in a wheelchair. It can be worn just like a poncho or you can button up the sides to make sleeves for a closer fit. Since she wears adaptive clothing, she usually has gaps as the staff forget to cover her backside properly even though I buy larger than her size clothing. This will hopefully help her stay warm. Washed well without any shrinkage or bleeding of colour. Definitely recommend.

Bought this for winter camping and travelling. OMG the fabric is so soft and light. It just wraps right around and the print I choose is delightful (snow flakes). I feel this is one of my best investments yet. Compacts down really small but packs a lot of warmth. And is a great length on my 5’3” frame. I feel like a million dollars when I wear it and the little fur trim around the hood is super cute. If you haven’t bought one … order one now if you like to be warm in the cold. The range of fabric choices is wonderful. Will put a couple of extra stitches in the button holes to secure the buttons as they slip out easily. No big deal.

Exceeded expectations. Great value very comfortable.
