Well built and ready to install!
we bought two of these - an 8" wide and a 6.5" wide, so this same review is being posted for both units. They were purchased to solve a pantry storage problem for us: these units are now installed side by side in the upper section of a 24" deep built in pantry. We decided on two instead of one wider version, so that the weight would be split between them, and no items would be hidden from view on the shelves above eye level. We chose two different widths, so smaller items could be stored back to back and wider items would have enough space. This was a great decision and has worked perfectly now that they are loaded up. Since there is a hinged door in place, we will add two thin veneers glued to the face of each unit, and then a small pull chose to the base. These glide out easily and smoothly, and we allowed about 1/3 inch between them and the edges, to avoid rubbing. They were completely assembled out of the box, and were fairly easy to take off the rails to install the rails to the cabinet base, and then put the unit back in. The shelves are so well made and we love the short rails that keep everything in place and still allow easy in and out. We removed several shelves (two from the 8", one from the 6.5") to allow for differently sized items, and have put the shelves into the bottom drawers we built, to help divide items and keep everything neat, while saving the shelves, should our arrangement needs change over time. Big fan of these, and they were very worth the money. Buying a new pantry cabinet with similar features would have been 8-10 times the cost of two of these. We have gone from a chaotic small pantry to a very well-organized, ample space. We even had space for eight counter canisters that we couldn't fit in the pantry before!

Quality Product, Watch the Video on Product Description.
Super Happy with this product. This is a quality product! I did not get paid and I rarely write reviews. This is a wordy post but it may help someone who is non handy with their install. Item was delivered via FedEx undamaged. This may not be the best way, but the skinny spaces you are limited getting at it. Watch the amazon video when browsing thru product description. My goal was not to have 19 holes in my cabinets when it only requires 10 if you do it right the first time. A paper template would be great, but does not come with product and my rack I bought is so narrow a template might not have been easy to layout anyway. I purchased the 3" rack, 4 tiers. It is narrow you can eyeball back positioning pretty easy when mounting. Cabinet mountain Area is skinny so precise measuring in back would be tricky one handed operation at best. I placed entire assy in cabinet. Slide out the 4 horizontal door face mount tabs and snuggled then up on cabinet face frame and position the base in cabinet void as if it would be when permanently mounted door. True test fit. I then traced with ink cartridge from a ball point ink pen around foot print of the 2 base feet. Helped my cabinets are painted white I am sure. I had to take out ink tube from ball point because tracing around there are clearance problems tracing (more like scratching at base trying to get ink pen to mark perimeter) but easily do able. At this point check your left right gap on upper frame. Make sure you are pretty square up and down with appropriate included upper shims. Mark upper for friction glides to keep sturdy when pulling / pushing. Mark center of 4 holes on cabinet face where door will mount. I used blue tape to get a pretty true center. Make sure you are square at top so your door will look straight. Then pull out entire assy....Now Install upper glide shims left right on the upper portion of your cabinets. Pull entire assy out of frame. Disassemble rack from frame base. When sliding rack off frame Plastic catch left pulls Up. Plastic catch right pushes down. Place frame bottom back in cabinet line up frames on ink pen Mark's on cabinet bottom you made earlier. Eye ball back positioning. Press 4 screw holes with awl and screw down base on cabinet floor. I posted the steps because their directions (sparse wording) stated 7/8" back. My method gave me a good fit and a One shot install 10 screw holes 10 screws. My door face I just held it in place and installed top first holding it up and screwing it one. My door face is 6" so light enough to hang it semi easy. Bottom line this unit is quality and you feel the quality when sliding out after installation. I pulled one row off to allow for tall cans of Pam, olive oil. Etc. Happy New Year.

Very nice Cabinet!
This Rev-A-Shelf sliding cabinet is very well built! We were surprised that it came fully assembled, and it was very easy to install. We had a bit of an issue with leveling it so would slide in and out without hitting the sides of the cabinet. That was more of a problem with the inside of the cabinet not being level, rather than the Rev-A-Shelf. We were able to easily solve that by shimmin up under one side. I do have a concern with how close the shelves are to each other. It makes it nearly impossible to pull things out of the bottom shelves, because there are side rails on the shelves that do not fold down. With all of the shelves in, there is only a couple of inches between the rail and the next shelf up.I really wish that they would fold down to get things out and put them back in with ease. I am almost at the point where I need to remove a shelf, because I'm constantly wrestling things in and out of the bottom shelves. The top shelf is brilliant! It is just open to the top of the cabinet. Overall, I'd say it was a really good buy. It is a quality item for a decent price, and it did it require any specialty tools to install. We did not have a problem converting our hinged cabinet door with the new pull out style. The small cabinet was almost useless before, and now I do not have to empty out the whole cabinet each time I want something from the back. By installing this sliding cabinet, we have definitely upgraded the lower cabinet. I would recommend this, and I think it's a good buy. It is a quality sliding cabinet for the price. It is solid and sturdy enough for daily use. We expected a particle board situation for this price, but it's not it's very solid.

Great organization for smaller kitchen.
Perfect spice rack for small cabinet next to stove. This is a quality built item with great sturdiness even when opened all the way. Weight capacity is great and closes easily even when fully loaded. Helps keep spices organized and close to reach while cooking. Easy to assemble with no missing parts. Would definitely not hesitate to purchase this again, great value for the money.

No more useless cabinet!!
I don't even understand why they make 5" base cabinets: what on earth can you do with them? With this little baby installed, you can do a LOT! It took what was really wasted/dead space and gave me the perfect place to store spices, oils, canned goods, even small boxes of pasta, cake mix and the like. The height adjustable feature is great, although it may mean I lose a shelf: still putting things away so we'll see. The only challenge I had was purely me and my space: getting the door attached properly. This cabinet was in a corner, and to avoid banging into the drawer pulls perpendicular to the cabinet, it took a few tries to get it aligned. Once I figured it out, I couldn't be happier! This issue also meant I used one of each size bumper (normally I think you'd use the same size), but luckily the manufacturer sent both sizes. In addition to being fully-functional now, my cabinet also looks high-end and custom, and feels like it will last. The price may seem high, but in my case and opinion, it was money well spent. I highly recommend!

Great item!
Didn't get any shipping or tracking notifications, and was going to contact the seller today, but just before I did, Santa (well, the UPS man) brought my box! I was very happy! The box was sturdy, which was good, because there was no packing around the shelf pullout except for a plastic bag. Product was in one piece - no assembly required - to my surprise. It took about 15 to 20 minutes to install. One tip is to put it in place in the cabinet, pull out slightly and mark the top of the pullout on your cabinet door so you know how high or low to install the door on the pullout. The left and right is not as critical as there is some adjustment with the brackets being able to slide left and right. This was helpful for me as the inside floor of my cabinet is not perfectly level, and after installing the door perfectly centered on the pullout, I found I had to loosen the bracket nuts and tweak it a bit to make the door appear level with the cabinet fronts. This thing slides out very nicely and smoothly. My only wish would be that it had a soft close that pulled it in that last inch or two as I have to give it a push in the middle of the door. But, that is a small wish. Oh, someone asked about not mounting the door to the front of it. Well, that is totally possible as this model is very sturdy and doesn't require the door for strength, but it would limit access to part of one side which would be blocked by your door. Now I need to order the 447-bc-5c to put cutting boards and cookie sheets in!

Almost everything about it was exactly what we hoped for.
We've had this stupid deep 6" cabinet in our kitchen that our "custom kitchen" left us with because they weren't actually custom at all. Very unhappy with the uselessness of that space, i spent a great deal of time trying to come up with the best solution. This Roll our Solution checked every single box, looks beautiful, is made of mostly high quality parts, and came with extremely clear instructions! There was one notable issue - while installing, i noted one of the slides didn't want to unclip. I didn't notice until the unit was separated for installation, but one of the plastic ends of the glide has basically disintegrated (that over hard plastic that is very brittle) I didn't think much of it -as at first it looked to only serve as a "stopper" then after installation and sliding the system open and closed a couple times - i noted there was a ballbearing on the floor. Quickly figured out that this also served to keep the glide from moving too far forward. We called the number on the instructions with warranty information, and they answered the phone right away, a very helpful and informed person asked me to send the photos to identify the problem. Unfortunately they are unable to send a replacement plastic piece, and have to replace the entire glide assembly. However they were so quick to resolve our problem and offer support, i'm more impressed by their fabulous service than I am upset about a small part that's not as strong as it could have been. I would definitely purchase products from Rev-A-Shelf in the future.

Fonctionnel et solide
Le système est bien conçu. Toutefois, j’ai dû réajuster une des deux coulisses afin qu’elles soient toute les deux au même niveau pour obtenir un niveau parfait de l’étagère.

Affordable and good quality
Fit perfectly, easy to install, no issues. But you need to make sure you have the right measurements and decide on the distance between the shelves before you install it, because if you change your mind on the shelf heights after installation, you have to remove the shelving and start over. We use it for our spices and condiments so we can easily see everything we have.

Love this pull out as my spice rack!
I love this! We had a custom 9" base cabinet made for the kitchen, not much would really suit this, so we hunted around for a pull out for it. Measured the space and it fits perfectly, (when it arrives, if your handy and can follow instructions it shouldnt be hard) the only issue we felt may be tricky is putting the door cover on the front. But we loaded this with all our spices in glass mason jars, you need to be careful as it doesnt have a slow or self close, but we don't find the need to slam it closed as there is weight behind it. To us it is worh every penny, its sturdy, useful and solved a space issue perfectly!
