401 Knee Sleeve Support

It really comes down to one thing: the neoprene. McDavid uses a thick—but not too thick—neoprene that simply feels right. When I put it on, it slides into place, warms up my knee, and gives it this supportive “hug” that basically says, go ahead and jump. I’ve tried the Bauerfeind NBA edition, and while it’s a nice sleeve, it felt more like something you’d wear during warmups, not something that actually supports you through real movement. Mueller looked like they were trying to copy McDavid, but the material was barely half as thick and didn’t offer the same confidence or warmth. One more thing worth noting: McDavid was cheaper than the other two. Price wasn’t a deciding factor for me, but it definitely made the win even more clear. Out of everything I’ve tested, McDavid just feels the most secure, the most supportive, and the most ready for actual activity.

Excellent construction - well made neoprene support for knees - and for swimming. I wasn't sure about the swimming as the description did not mention swimming, but neoprene supports work for swimming, and this did also. I have used it more than five times. Fits very well and unlike others advertised, this has a measurement guide and their grid is accurate, so use it. I ordered a large for a 15 .5 knee measurement and it fits perfectly. It dries easily and keeps it's form. This is a basic grade knee support - no straps and not for heavy injury, but it helped me and I recommend it for anyone starting to get twinges or such in their knees- probably will try it for golf next. Doesn't cure anything but gives an extra measure of support. It also does not slide off in water if you order the correct size.

I dislocated my patella and have knee pain, and this knee sleeve has been a huge help. It’s comfortable, fits well, and gives me the support I need. I can wear it for hours without it bothering me, even when I’m moving around a lot. It keeps my knee feeling stable and warm, which eases my pain. The material is breathable, so it doesn’t get too hot or sweaty. I’m happy with how much relief I get from this sleeve.

Great compression sleeve for extra support. No gadgets here, straightforward and easy to use/wear. Wash up nicely in the washing machine and hang to dry. Hubby likes them so much we bought him 2 sets. They hold up well too.

Good support after 3X week for 4 months immersed in water

I was looking into a brand that cost 3x as much (Rehbands), but thought I'd try these first, figuring that even if they lasted half as long, I'm still doing better in terms of overall cost. Several pair later, I can attest that they're great for the price - *if you get a good one* (I've got about a 67% success rate so far). The previous pairs I purchased were perfect: did their job well, stayed on/up, and not uncomfortable. However, the most recent replacement (they're best replaced after a few months with 3x/week usage) is somewhat uncomfortable, due to the stitching from the rear seam rubbing against the back of my knee while wearing. I'm not sure if this is a fluke, or if it's a consistent issue with the new version which have seen a slight design change (the inside of the sleeve has a kind of nice, subtle pattern, instead of the previous solid black). Will probably still buy another pair in a few months, but if the stitching issue resmains, it will probably be my last.

I was surprised at how comfotable of a fit this support gives. It took a couple of days to get used to with my swollen knee, but now, I don't feel it at all. The sleeve is true to size. I measured my leg & the guide recommended a medium. I have "thick" thighs and was concerned that the sleeve would be too tight, but the medium works perfectly. It stays on all day & doesn't pinch my skin or get scrunched behind my knee. I've been wearing the sleeve since my knee popped & swelled up, a couple of weeks ago, and this neoprene sleeve gives me great support even when I walk up & down the stairs in my house. I also like that the material molds to my leg and gives the compression I need to help keep the swelling down, without being a big bulky brace that I constantly need to adjust. This was a great choice. I give it a 2 thumbs up.
