Glatt Schwarzkopf Permanent Straightener Cream Strong-Red

I have a very thick hair part wavy and part curly. I used to go to a hair stylist to do the keratin treatment. I must say that the pandemic, with all it's terrible consequences, brought also many teachings , one of them for me is that I don't need to go to the hair stylist because I can straighten my hair at home, in less than half the time, 5% of the cost and a better result than the one obtained with the Keratin treatment that lasts just a maximum of 4 months and overtime makes hair very oily. Glatt is working great for me made my hair much better and more manageable.Even though the instructions are very clear ,this is how I use it: On a clean towel dried hair I apply the cream carefully and evenly, this takes around 15 minutes ; I’ve seen this step s very important for a even result . Then I use low/medium heat for 20 minutes maximum . The higher the heat and time the more straightening effect. Of course , too much time or heat could damage your hair. Afterwards I rinse and apply the neutralizer balm also evenly and leave it for 10 minutes, not less time than that . That's all!I have done it several times, and it really works very well. No damage to the hair. The smell is not really intense as many other relaxing creams. For me it has lasted around 8 monthsThanks to Glatt producers, great help !!update: I used also last time the Silueta extra care spray recommended in the instructions to prevent any damage from repeated treatments. My hair is smooth with no damage .

I have very thick curly hair that is impossible to get a brush through. It's an unruly mess to work with. So I saw a bunch of good reviews of this Glatt for Straightening and decided to try it. I followed all the steps on all the videos I watched.. Washed me hair. Blow dried it Straight. Straightened it with a flat iron. Put the Glatt on all of my hair pulling it straight a little at a time. left in on for the time stated. Rinsed it thoroughly. Blow dried it straight and Straightened it again. then put the neutralizer on for the amount of time stated. rinsed it and Blow dried and Straighten it Again. and it made my hair straight. My hair still gets some waves in it when it gets wet but it is still much faster and easier to straighten now.. and is soft and feels much lighter.. and is so much easier to care for now. My hair was soft and smooth before I put this creme on my hair. I followed the instructions to the tee but this cream burned my hair off. After applying the "neutralizing cream" for the recommended amount of time and rinsing it out of my hair I started brushing and blow-drying my hair. Huge chunks of m hair came off in the comb. I jumped back in the shower and rinsed my hair even more. Then attempted another blow dry. More and more of my hair fell out. When I was done, my hair was a burned ruined mess. I had to go get all my hair cut off very short because this stuff burned my hair off. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I have extremely frizzy and curly red hair. It’s totally unmanageable after it gets longer than 3/4”-1”. I tried a quarter sized amount of this stuff for 15 minutes and it made my hair noticeably softer and more cooperative. It’s not a miracle straightener, my hair is still coarser and curlier than most people, but with this stuff I can get it soft enough to cooperate with fiber wax if I want to comb it flat. My scalp did not burn. A single package can easily last 5-6 monthly applications for shortish men’s hair.

My husband normally uses the European version of Schwarzkopf Glatt straightener,which is a superior product. This particular version is manufactured in Thailand.It definitely does work, but as a caution: for "soft" hair that is not kinky /frizzy /very curly, keep an eye on the processing time. The straightener may burn/damage hair if left for the full time.Very strong smell, and instructions are printed on the inside of the box (no inserts).We reduced the processing time by 5 minutes as a precaution with this product, with good results and no hair damage.

I have 4c coarse hair, it works. It straightened my hair with in ten mins of putting it on. frizz deminished by 50 percent. But I wasn't going for bone straight so one part was ten mins and the rest 5 mins. 5 mins just loosen curls a bit but still looked natural, ten-15 mins extremely loose curl that dried straight. Great alternative for a texturizer or straightening so far to me. Cons, it smells absolutely horrible, like rotten eggs mixed with hair dye. Vapors Can burn eyes as well, and makes your house stink . But it's only ten mins if you can handle the smell.moisturize and condition well as aftercare.

My husbands hair is so tight curls he has always wore a short fade. He wanted to grow a little longer but tight curls unmanageable. This product worked perfectly the reverse of a perm.You don't need to use the entire tube. Only use what you need. I sealed the balm package up with a package sealer as I only needed half of it.I comb through with a bleach brush then put a plastic cap over for the first 20 minutes. It really does straighten well. No frizz or frying of hair if used right. Last about 3 months.

This product works but Damages all your hair. After using this the my hair got straightened but became too week and started breaking like anything even if I use my hand to fix my hair i get 7 to 8 hair atuck in my fingers everytime. Half of my hair are broken and I lost the density. My hair stylist told me to better shave the head to get new virgin hair.Very disappointed with this
