I bought these readers to replace another set I had. The frames and lens are plastic. So it will be a matter of time until the frame cracks and then lens falls out but a set can last you up to a year. It is still an inexpensive alternative than buying another pair of prescription readers. I keep my prescription in my purse and non prescription at home.

Readers are the right magnification and I really liked them, but unfortunately after a few months of wearing them at my desk, they've slowly started to crack. I didn't drop them or anything other than take them off and on. They are cheap so I got what I paid for. Now I order from Peepers and they are way way more durable.
