Review: Murphy Original Oil Soap Convenience - Best oil soap on the market for me. I have used Murphys Wood oil Soap for years because it is such an easy product to use. I use it on my linoleum floors because it is non-toxic for my pets. It says no rinse, but I still rinse just to be safe. I use it in the house, in my car and for my garden tools because it cleans gently, and thoroughly. It has a nice smell and really makes the house smell cleaner. A little goes a long way, and it rinses out of cloths very well. Shipping was fast, convenient and well packed. There was no leakage.

**Q: Do you need to rinse after using this product on floors?**
A: Hi... Not sure about floors-- we don't Murphy our floors b/c they're tile; we use the product on wooden furniture only. On that, we don't rinse; instead, we buff. Maybe be in touch with the company with your question?

**Q: I received my order but the label does not even look like this. is this the same as the murphy wood cleaner that says "since 1910" on the front?**
A: They may have changed the label slightly, but the contents are good old Murphy's Oil Soap--great for washing wooden floors without ruining them. I have been using this product for 50+ years.

**Q: Do you still need to use a polish after using this soap?**
A: No, I do not polish after. A quick formula, Murphy Squirt & Mop, is also good when in a hurry. I use original formula when a thorough cleaning is needed on my wood floor planking.

**Q: Is it safe to use on painted furniture? Like kitchen cabinets?**
A: yes
