I very rarely leave reviews on Amazon, but this egg cooker is something special that's worth writing about. I bought it mainly because of my frustration with my previous egg cooker, which was mostly plastic, ugly, and hard to clean. I've also researched practically every other egg cooker on the market before buying this, and I feel that nothing comes close to the quality of this one. This egg cooker is all metal, and the pink one I have is beautiful to look at. It really is a premium product, and I can tell from the previous user reviews that the manufacturer listens to its customers to improve its designs. I can also tell by the quality materials that it's going to last me a long long time. Quality like this is very hard to find on Amazon, where most products are just plastic copies of other brands. All in all, get this egg cooker. You can't go wrong with it. P.S. Two general tips on using egg cookers: 1. Use DISTILLED WATER instead of tap water! This will help avoid the annoying water mineral deposits. Distilled water is really cheap too - you can get it for like 80 cents per gallon jug at Walmart. 2. It's not necessary to poke holes on the eggs. I almost never have any problem with not using the included pushpin. I find that poking a hole on an egg can sometimes cause more problems than they prevent, for example, you may poke too hard and shatter the shell, or egg whites can come out of the hole during cooking, etc. So don't even bother.

This is my third time to use a egg cooker, first one was under $20, broke after 1 year even I didn’t use it often, I recently ordered little pricy egg cooker and have problem when I opened top burning myself because there is nothing to take off easily. This egg cooker little expensive than others, but it was impressive with thoughtful packaging and design. There is a cup with sharp needle to poke eggs, even it has cover prevention, everything is stainless, looks smaller than other egg cooker but you can cook 7 eggs anyway. I shopped for egg cooker before I bought it, considering more to American brand , there are few things not right, one of there is no power button, the other no handle to take out eggs easily, hoping this last as somebody reviewed 5 years.

It is easy to use, it is easy to clean, eggs are to remove the shell and it works

Everything went wrong with this product. First, when I tried to pierce the holes in the eggs, I cracked the first three eggs. I did not do it hard as I was pressing in gently and I even tried to move it back-and-forth to make the hole but it cracked the first three eggs. The second three eggs made a pretty good hole but when I cooked the eggs for hard boiled, they oozed out of the holes into the unit and the water, which I measured accurately on the cup, steamed out and poured all over the counter. After the eggs were cooked, I opened them and the eggs were raw inside. Not happy at all with this product. Just requested a return and ordered one with better reviews and more purchases. (Photos show first 3 eggs that cracked, eggs that oozed out into unit and raw eggs when cooked for ten minutes for hard boiled.)

I have been using this egg boiler for around two weeks now, and it seemed to be very efficient and worth the money. It's very fast, and you will get exactly what you want in 10 minutes maximum. Its stainless body and the whole product appear to be of high quality. You are free to cook eggs the way you like either hard or soft boiled or even poached eggs. The water calibration and the water cup are very accurate, so if you follow the instructions, you will get exactly the egg you want either hard, medium, or soft. Whenever the egg is ready, it will shut off automatically without any noise, just a small click to notify you. Its stainless design keeps the eggs warm after boiling for a longer time. It's a small and lightweight gadget with a beautiful design. I definitely liked it and will recommend it.

So, I really want to give this puppy 5 stars. However, I cannot. I really like the design of stainless steel and the color options, but that is where it ends. Don't get me wrong, it works. It will cook your eggs. It's just that it could be so much better. I had a little Dash egg cooker before and they did it right. For example, the egg tray doesn't have a handle to pick up all the eggs at once to move them to cold water. The lid has steam vents very close to the handle which increases likelihood of burns. The measuring cup is hard to read and the spike to puncture the egg doesn't work that great because the bottom is 3 times bigger than the egg. Finally, the egg timer doesn't chime when it's finished. It just turns off. So, yeah, it works but needs improvement

I bought this because it does not have an annoying beeper when it’s done steaming. It has a slight "click" and that’s it. It’s very easy to clean. Simply pour a bit of vinegar in bottom and wipe clean with paper towel. Cooks my hard boiled eggs perfectly and steams 1-2 serving of vegetables quickly. It’s attractive, small and simple to use so I leave it set out on my counter since I use it 3-4 times daily. I only wish there were four bottom legs rather then the three (It tips when wiping clean) and the top knob seems a bit loose regardless if tightened. I still gave 5 stars since it does not beep and cooks perfectly.

Finally an egg cooker where I can get away from heating plastic parts. Works as expected. I really like the poaching pan.
