My water is bad. It smells. It turns everything bright orange. I bought this filter hoping it would work. To my surprise it worked great. I can tell the difference in one day. No more smell. The water doesn't come out orange. Most of all it got my wife off my back because of the water. That alone makes it well worth it. First filter that worked in 4 years.

I ordered for my well to my sprinkler system, work 6 times and clog completely. Expensive and low quality. The refund me only 9 dollars for my return.

I have a small wellhouse and have been fighting the rotten egg smell for about a year now. Bleaching/chlorinating helps temporarily, but it always comes back. I plan on adding an Aeration system eventually but figured this was worth a shot for the price. The good news is it did remove most of the rotten egg smell. If a faucet sits unused for a while, the smell will return temporarily which is understandable. But as water runs through the filter, the smell does go away. So maybe 15 seconds max of rotten egg smell the next morning. I'd call this a huge improvement. I also noticed my shower water had less of a "Metallic-Earthy" smell to it. I'll be purchasing the media to refill this unit when the time comes.

This product came quickly and was easy to install. I recently bought a house with a whole house filtration system and the water smelled when I first moved in. Within hours of changing the filter the smell is completely gone and the water is clear again. I will be buying again!

This works at removing smell as advertised. After two months water pressure drops off significantly. This continues to worsen until you change the filter. It's costly replacing it every 2 months.

Since moving into my new house, I have been dealing with a heavy sulfur smell, an iron taste, and a lot of rust staining from our well water. I have tried several other filters that claim to help with all of these problems over the course of this last year, but this is the first to actually solve the problem! This filter is an amazing deal, considering I was about to drop thousands of dollars on a commercial filter system. I am very grateful to have found these guys. Product install is very straight forward and easy, and replacement medium is fairly cheap. After installing, I flushed my system and let the water run for a few minutes, then I had perfectly clean drinking water. No more stains on laundry, toilets, sinks, or tubs. The biggest mistake I've ever made. The filter was broken inside and flooded my plumbing with media, clogging everything. I'm still trying to figure out how to recover.

One hundred dollars is expensive for a filter, but if it works it's worth it. This filter worked great ..... for just less than two months, then the smell came back just as strong. We are only a household of 2 people so water consumption is minimal. Although the product worked well ... at $50/month cost, it's just not worth it.
