Item is as described. Nice weight and balance. I've bought 7" scissors, but they just fell too short. These 8" ones feel much better in the hand, easy to grip. The sharpness/durability doesn't last as long as a more expensive brand of scissors, but they're still pretty good. I've bought them twice. Of course the straight edge gets the most use, so that'll get dull the quickest. The curved ones work really well when doing heads, especially poodle heads. Definitely recommend for professional groomers and the at home pet groomer. Review: Good grooming set - I liked this scissors set. It’s pretty complete and practical for grooming. They cut well, are comfortable to use, and don’t pull the dog’s hair. The included comb is also very helpful. They feel like good quality and are durable. We have big, very hairy dogs and my wife really likes them. Only cut hair with them and nothing else. **Q: Any professional groomers here, would you consider these heavy?** A: I’ve groomed over 11 years, these aren’t heavy. If you have a small hand, preference & feel would decide. **Q: Will these scissors work for a long hair Maine Coon kittie?** A: These are perfect for trimming long hair, however I urge caution for any matting as it is very easy to cut skin on cats. Clippers are generally safer, depending on your needs, when it comes to cats, but these and most scissors are fine for trimming stray tufts on cats. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good scissors at a decent price! *by L***A on January 29, 2026* Really nice grooming scissors at a decent price.
