Padded Figure Skating Shorts. Crash Pad Pants for Hip / Tailbone

Does the job! Great padding on the hips/sides and bum. Made me feel a lot safer while learning new moves roller skating. Seems to hold up well over time. Fit was accurate. I wear them over leggings when I’m skating.

These shorts are one of the best inventions ever!! I wear them every time I go skating and they really do work to protect you from falls. They fit great, I forget that I'm wearing them, and are easy to slide on and off without skates on. These feel like great quality and despite some falls have no damage.

I bought these shorts to wear for quad skating. I’ve been using them for about 3 months and I skate about 5 times a week. I think these are a good value for the money. The padding is dense and the shorts are made of sturdy material. I’ve experienced no stretching and they fit true to size. I’ve hand washed them and they look and feel the same as when I bought them. I feel confident that I won’t need to replace them anytime soon. They do look fairly silly, but I buy shorts that are two times larger and wear them over these to disguise them a little. However, I’m willing to put up with that to keep my tailbone safe. Plus it gives me the confidence boost to push myself to try new things as I feel well protected.

I am a beginner to intermediate level skier and had a couple of tailbone injuries while skiing in the past. This time I tried five butt protectors on Amazon and chose this one. Others are too long or too bulky. This one is perfect, lightweight, stretchy enough to wear on top of ski pants. It is black color and so does not show on my black pants. It is comfortable to ski with it with no constraint. Also comfortable to sit for lunch or on ski lifts. I fell once on my buttock, and this totally protected me. If you do more serious skiing and high impact movements, you may need something more robust. But for leisure skiing, it is perfect, at least for me.

Perfect fit, with good sized hip and butt pads. I'm a figure skater who often falls on the same hip, this pair solved the problem.

I doesn’t look cute when I wear it but definitely gives me protection. I’m not afraid to fall in the ice rink anymore.

I use these for snowboarding to protect my tailbone and hips and they work really well. I no longer leave the mountain with a bruised butt lol

My daughter that figure skates regularly uses these while she is learning new jumps and moves. They fit as expected for the size, they are comfortable and high-quality. They have saved her bum many times when she has fallen. I would buy these again in a heartbeat

We put this over top the skating leggings . Provides ample padding especially on hips... Great for kids learning axel... Which is a a difficult jump that prone to falls. Had a zipper up padding shorts before with a non figure skating brand and it doesn't have padding in the right spots like this one.. ie:hips. This is a good product

Bought these for roller derby. They are THE BEST! I have so many hard falls on concrete and haven’t had any bruises on my hips since I started wearing these. Love them so much!
