Excellent for rusty bolts and nuts works quickly used it on some widows on out back porch they were very difficult to slide up now they are nice and free easy to open

I sprayed a little on the bolt and latch, let it sit for a few minutes, then worked the latch back and forth. It loosened up enough to use without wrestling with it. I also tried it on an old lock at the storage cabinet, and that turned more smoothly afterward. The spray reaches into tight spots, which helped around the bolt threads. I kept a rag nearby and used a small amount so it wouldn’t run onto the walkway. I was glad I bought it when I could open the gate easily with a box in one hand and my keys in the other. It’s now on the shelf with the shop’s basic repair supplies, ready for the next stuck fitting. I haven’t had to reach for it every day, but it was handy for the jobs I had in mind.

For the price I'd buy the Kroil Penetrating Oil. But this should work if it's not too rusted ..

My dad swore by Free All back when I was a kid and bought it by the case. He did all of his own vehicle and excavating equipment maintenance. This was back in the late 70s and early 80s. This is the first can I’ve bought since I was a kid. My daughter used it to spay down her battery terminal clamp bolts. One of the clamps broke and needed to be replaced. The nut was rusted solid on the clamp. She sprayed it down the night before and it broke loose the next day without much effort. Overall, it made her life easier since I wasn’t there to do it for her. I’m glad my daughter is independent and mechanically inclined enough to do most of her own vehicle maintenance and repairs!

This works. I sprayed it on my riding mowers frozen steering and almost immediately it released its rusty grip.

I had frozen outside hose adaptor that hadn't been touched in decades but I needed to replace it as the housing had a hole and was starting to leak. I tried for awhile to use one plumber's wrench to brace the threaded side so I could use my huge adjustable wrench to take off the housing adaptor. Needed two people and after alot of effort nothing budged. So I thought I'd try this as the only other option was a plumber and sprayed it on it two times (separated by a day each time). The next day I tried it again and to my surprise it started to move!! Took it off completely and saved at least $150. This was a tough test and it worked. Not sure it will work for others as your situation might be worse but I'm glad I tried. it.
