As soon as they were installed, they all started to emit beeping noises as though the internal battery had failed. I contacted the manufacturers' (FireAngel) support line directly and this is their complete and unedited reply: " Thank you for your email and apologies you have experienced issues with your alarms. Further to our previous conversation this afternoon. The alarms ST-622, you purchased from Amazon in March 2023; we can confirm from the pictures & details you have provided these alarms were manufactured in 2013. This means they are already 10 years old, with the 10-year battery life expectancy this is why your alarms are chirping low battery. It does look like the replace by date on the alarm has been tampered with or covered with a sticker. We believe these have been sold to you from a third-party seller who has already had use of these alarms for the previous years, therefore we cannot guarantee the quality of these alarms after that amount of time. We advise you to contact Amazon to inform them that you have been sold a product already past its used by date". Have a look at the label with '2033' printed on in the attached photo.
