These made for such a fun project with my 6 and 8 year old kids. Each drawer only fit well in their designated spot, so be sure to label them if you need to paint them. We painted these and created a small Christmas scene. They are fairly sturdy and the drawers do not stick. I found similar DIY advents at Hobby Lobby, but the quality of these is much better. Great value for the money and they turned out so cute!

Great advent calendar house. I bought 2 and stained and decorated them. They took the stain well, as well as puff paint, map pins (for attaching lights) and hot glue. They are sturdy enough for my two year old to play with mostly unsupervised. The drawers can accommodate objects 2 inches long. They are a good size for a little diarama item and a treat for each day. The drawers are pretty smooth to open close, but it takes a little work on some of them. They aren't sticking, just a close fit. I would recommend.

Sturdy and a great blank canvas. Drawers are a lil snug as is. I plan to turn them around and attach small knobs. The wood is nicer than I'd expected. I was going to paint it but the grain is good so I'm going to stain instead. The drawers are a bit small but you can fit 1 lindor truffle, 4 hershey kisses, 8 Andes mints...you get the idea

My 10 year old wanted a DIY advent calendar. I also purchased the recommended wooden numbers. I took away stars due to the size of the boxes. They are extremely small and you can’t fit anything in them except for money. So far I’ve had to place the gifts outside of the boxes - which ruins the surprise and the purpose of having this calendar if I can’t even utilize the boxes to hide gifts. Also, this required A LOT of work and obviously a creative mindset. But the end result made it worth it because it turned out beautifully. I’d probably search for one with larger boxes if there were a next time.

Had so much fun painting and crafting on these! Some of the drawers are a tight fit on some spaces, so make sure you play around with the best fit for each space. It helps to number the bottom when you’ve got it sorted. Other than that I could not be more pleased with them!

Just as expected and needed. Solidly enough made. Not cardboard. (Thin but) sturdy wood. Drawers work fine. Arrived in damaged. I put on my own roof tiles, hot glue spray painted white is perfect snow, added glitter, lights. Bought the mini handles and background papers on Amazon too. Very happy with the final product.

I thought it was well made with the exception of the drawers. Some of the drawers did not go in or come out so smoothly. I actually planned to sand every drawer down anyway to gift paper on them so wasn’t much of a problem to me. Not much of a crafty person myself but it was fun and turned out well. Will give this to my daughter!

Totally cute! Good quality. Like others have said, the drawers can be hard to move. Make sure you number them on the bottom - BEFORE removing completely to paint them. This will make it MUCH easier to move the drawers once assembled. The drawers are very small, but they easily fit a Halloween-sized chocolate bar inside. They won't fit a chapstick or anything like that though.

Smoothed, unfinished pale wood. Can be customised or left natural. Only smells of wood. Delicate. Constructed with care. The measurement of the drawers is exactly as shown in the demonstration images. The cut-away corner to open it by is easier for a child to open than it would be for many adults, due both to finger size and natural and of the hand and arm while standing. Does not pull smoothly in all cases - sometimes snug, so should be pulled very carefully. Suitable surprises to place inside would be a fancy button or other crafting material, a ring or note, a coin, a Lego person or a different wrapped candy for each day, (traditional). Note: If children will be the ones to receive goodies placed inside, you may wish to employ a great deal of brand & flavour variety. While keeping some good humour, if you have a child who is very particular and can be reactive about getting something different than what they.hoped for, be aware of the possibility for 24 straight days that begin with complaints. 😅 This is an excellent tool in teaching exercises related to flexibility around expectation and emotional calm. I would recommend this item.

Make sure to read the measurements before buying this. These drawers are tiny (big enough for an ice cube). I bought this expecting to be able to put small gifts inside and found the size very limiting. You can't fit a gift card or even a chapstick. Otherwise excellent and really fun to decorate.

Decent quality, and fits a good amount in each box (mini mars bar just fits)

J'ai acheté pour faire un calendrier de récompenses pour ma fille. Je vais le prendre ensuite comme calendrier de l'avent. C'est une belle décoration et il pourrait facilement être peint aussi.
