For many years I've been suffering from headaches, tried tempurpedic still had headaches until someone recommended buckwheat pillow. These pillows are not what I'm used to, but ever sense I've used it I haven't had a single headache, it's amazing! I ordered small, excellent quality, quilted cover, has a zipper both cover and the pillow it self, so you can actually see what's inside. Also, I end up taking some hulls out to make a pillow softer. Set also includes a little sachet of actual lavender flowers, smells very therapeutic. I recommend to anyone who is suffering from head or neck pain. Bought 3 more for a gift

I absolutely love this pillow. I replaced my older buckwheat hull pillow with this new one and I am sleeping well. It does smell like buckwheat hulls quite strongly at first. I did not find that to be a huge issue and it smell less now that I've had it a few months. Now my husband wants one too. The pillowcase that came with it is very nice, cool to the face, and no pilling.

Great pillow package. Containing everything you need. The package contains a quality cotton pillow case so no need to purchase an additional case or use one you already have. This pillowcase isn't just one of those bland end seam cases. It has the longer internal flap seams to keep the pillow locked inside, preventing it from escaping the case. Very nice materal and construction. The internal casing has a tiny invisible zipper for the ability to add or subtract buckwheat whichever you desire. This case too is well constructed. The package comes with a gifting of Lavender which you can add to your buckwheat or not. I added half the first week not knowing if I would find it overwhelming or not. I didn't even notice it was there. Now I had bought additional buckwheat thinking I would probably want to fill it as I'm not a flat pillow fan. This was a waste of money. I ended up removing more than I put in. I have no complaints whatsoever about this whole pillow package and found it the perfect starter package containing every thing someone could possibly need to make the switch to buckwheat. Beautifully packaged and wonderfully priced. A nice gift for yourself. About the switch to buckwheat sleeping. I switched for relief from extremely painful TMJ that effects my ears. The first couple of nights I awoke with a slightly stiff neck that faded rapidly but no ear pain. A more than fair trade to me. The stiff neck feeling passed after a couple of days and the ear pain has never returned to the degree it was before. It gas taken quite some adjustment to get used to. Filling and unfilling my pillow to get it just right. I sleep on my sides and back so this requires getting used to. But the relief I not have is worth all the adjustments I've have to go through. Well worth it.

purchased this pre-made pillow as I was searching for hulls to purchase to make my own - price is comparable and this is an excellent quality pillow. I knew I liked the buckwheat hulls pillow, but I get they are not for everyone. I have neck and upper back issues, broad shoulders and have been searching pillows for years trying to find one that is comfortable for the long haul. Very pleased with this product! Will buy again. Excellent quality product!

I love this pillow. However, is a bit smaller than I anticipated. It is the Japanese size, which is half of a standard pillow. I do love the pillow cover. I use it all the time.

I wanted to give 3.5 stars as this pillow has some really nice things about it. The fabric is nice, it appears well made, the lavender sachet was lovely. It is confusing when you order as it says extra pillowcase instead of pillowcase included, it makes you think you will get 2 but it only comes with one. It also is not 2/3 full of buckwheat hulls, more like half full. I am going to have to order more hulls as they spread out to much for me. Still, for what I paid its pretty good.

High quality product! I have a love hate relationship with this pillow. It does help reduce my neck pain! I have tried many pillows and this is the first one that doesn't cause or aggravate pain in my neck. That being said, I miss the softness of other pillows. Sometimes I get a headache from how hard this pillow feels, but it did help to remove a gallon size bag of the hulls. I love that it is easy to remove or add hulls to adjust the pillow. I would not call the pillow comfortable, but I do sleep soundly with it and don't wake up with neck pain!

I purchased this as an echo friendly and non toxic alternative for my six year old however even though the filling was adjustable, it was so small for the amount of buckwheat that I had to remove half the amount and it still was not very form fitting for him to use to sleep. The option to add real lavender was a nice touch but not enough to keep the pillow, even for other uses just because it was not comfortable and waste of material that wasn’t worth the cost
