If you think by saving 20 bucks and going less expensive and it does not matter then you are dead wrong. You get so much more with this product versus the brands you seriously have never even heard of. I will tell you why I am writing this review. I ordered the complete package with Amp. Holiday shopping things get crazy and they did not send the amp, I wrote them and they immediately sent me my amp - not only that they were nice at Austin which in this day and age is great you know ... but they also sent a better bigger amp no cost. I was freaking out a little because it is my sons first guitar and without an amp it would be "price is right losing music" without it Christmas morning. I did not want to spend more on an amp either. It is a F.E.N.D.E.R ... it HAS to maintain standards - it will last and even at 3/4 its cool and you can hang it up on the wall as ART when you get a full size. Thanks to Austin Bazaar for helping my family continue the Shred journey hailing to the Gods of Metal as the dragon flaps his wings and smiles upon my family ripping out tunes with the new generation. Perfect birthday gift for 8 year old. Just the right size for him. Well packaged and comes with amp, cords and everything listed.

My 10 year old loves it. It came packaged great. Fits him perfectly. Great dvd for beginners instructions as well, definitely recommend

Bought this guitar for my 8 year old grandson for Christmas. This is a very well made guitar. Wonderful craftsmanship. Great sound quality. Yes I did plug it in and play it. I plan on teaching him. It arrived without any damage. Packed very well and not a scratch on it. Very impressed with Austin Bazaar.

The strings are too far off the neck of the guitar, the action is almost impossible. I can barely play this guitar, let alone my beginner son who I purchased the guitar for. Super bummed. Returning is going to be difficult because the seller has requested it’s boxed and returned. Hang on to your boxes and try yours out in case you too need to return. Or maybe just don’t buy this bundle and save you the trouble. We bought fender squier single guitars for my other kids and theirs are awesome! Not sure if we just had bad luck or if these in the bundle are less quality.

Hard to keep in tune. But a great starter.

Unfortunately, the amp wasn't included in the bundle we bought. My son was very excited to open his guitar on Christmas but he can't play it because of the missing part.
