I like how simple this unit is
I ordered a different table top spiral slicer. Returned it because it wouldn't stick to the counter and I had to hold it down and push while turning the leaver.I like how simple this unit is. It works with ease and comes with a cleaning brush.I gave it 4 stars because there is about 1 inch of the vegetable that doesn't get used, seems like a waste.

Nice for the price
I works well for making noodles out of zucchini. Just make sure your veggie is the right size for the slicer. If it is too large or too small it will only make small shavings instead of long noodles.

Super fun to use
Super fun to use! Already made a great soup and my daughter mistook the zucchini spirals for pasta. Also ... this one comes with a nice cleaning brush. Enjoy!

Sharp, easy to use, and makes low carb diets much more palatable
Disclaimer: I received this slicer at a discount in exchange for an honest review. I'll start with the good.EDIT: I've had to drop this down to 4 stars after using it a few times. At the very end of your vegetable it becomes dangerous to twist further so they've included an end cap. The cap is a complete waste of time because it just shreds the back end of the veggie and can't get any sort of grip. This basically means that you can't "spiralize" the last 3-4" of the thing. I solved this by slicing the nub into thin strips with a regular knife.Also, the center of your veggie gets smashed into the hole and gums up the works. I just scooped out the zucchini seeds/mash before continuing on. Isn't really a very efficient use of a vegetable.HOWEVER, it still does a wonderful job with most of the vegetable and you can't achieve the effect without something like this product, so I'm still giving it 4 stars.Pro:- very sharp blades - smooth to twist vegetable- easy to hold device, even when wet- two blade sizes to add variety to thickness- comes with cleaner brush, peeler, and a cap to protect your fingers at the veey end of your veggie.Con:- must rinse it off right away or the tiny blades are difficult to clean, even with the brushOverall, the spiral slicer does what it's intended to do, is affordable, and makes veggies more fun to eat by playing with textures. I've found it easier to be low carb by using zucchini pasta instead of regular or rice. Great product.

Great tool
This is a nifty little kitchen tool. First I must say how much I appreciate this little package. It came with a cleaning brush, a ceramic peeler and a bag to store the spiraler and it's top. Everything fits really nicely in a small space and even though it's small it works really well. The spiraler has two sides for making two different size strings. I use the larger side for cucumber and the smaller for zucchini as it's more firm and is less likely to turn to mush. I haven't tried using a carrot with it yet but I'm definitely planning on it. I'm actually surprised by how often I use this tool. It's really easy to use and clean. Before I head out in the morning I just string up some cucumber, chickpeas and feta and throw it in my lunch bag.So far so good. I'm glad I was able to purchase this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

It was better but still not great
This is the second veggie spiral slicer I have purchased. I first one was worthless so I decided to try this brand. It was better but still not great. The firmer the veggie, the better the slicing. Also, the cap to "push down" the veggies once they get to short does not work, at least on zucchini-the center becomes a mushy mess. I will continue to try with other types of veggies, carrots will likely do much better. The ceramic peeler that is included works fantastic. Both items are dishwasher safe. It may be something that gets better with practice-the other reviewers seemed to have much better luck. I have tried to find a product website to get more tips and recipes but have not been able to locate one-if there is one I would recommend Amazon include it,
