Where is the lid?? You gotta have a lid to have it fully cook all the way through. Why would you ask people to flip cake balls over??

You don't need one. This cooks the balls fast and it takes a few times just not to burn it because you gotta be on top of it. If it had a lid it would burn everything every single time.

Many many warnings in the manual. Why don't they include cooking instructions and recipes?

You can make Takoyaki, Abelskivers or cake pops. I think people buying this product already have a recipe. Cooking time will vary based on what you are making.

Does it com with a lid?

no lid. you have to "roll" the dough to make the ball shape
