Fantastic pan
We love this pan. It is a well made pan. Itโs a nice weight doesnโt change shape in the oven , nothing sticks to it so itโs easy to clean the rack is nice and made well. Well worth what I paid for it. For the price I was honestly surprised how nice it is.So happy with this purchase and would definitely purchase again.

Overall a very nice pan, but don't like the folded inside corners.
I have a few different Chicago Metallic products, and, for the most part, love them all. In addition to these roasting pans, I also have 4 of the loaf pans. All of their products that I have are easy to clean with a little soap and warm water. The only thing that I don't like about these pans and the loaf pans is the folded corners. These corners are a bit difficult to clean as they tend to hold onto food cooked in the pans. We have been able to get the food out of the corner, but they also hold the water used to wash them. After you wash and dry them, you need to let them sit on the counter for a few minutes until all of the water drains out of the corners so you can dry them again. Although these small roasting pans will be useful for my indoor cooking, I bought them primarily to smoke and roast whole chickens in my smoker. Since the interior of my smoker is 14" x 12", these pans will fit so I can smoke two whole chickens at a time on different levels. I'm sure these roasting pans will also be very useful in a couple of the indoor ovens that I have. UPDATE 09/30/24: Today, I smoked 2 4.5 lb. chickens using these roasting pans. This was so much nicer than using the disposable foil pans. I lined each pan with aluminum foil, put in the rack, and put one chicken in each pan. There was plenty of space around the chickens for circulation of heat and smoke, and the chickens were not sitting in the drippings. I smoked the chickens at 250 degrees to internal temperatures of 165 degrees in both the breasts and the thighs. This took about 2.5 hours in our smoker. Cleanup was a breeze. I needed only to roll up the aluminum foil in the roasters, clean the smoke residue from the outside of then pans, and clean the roaster racks. + I do recommend these roasting pans because they are easy to clean, but the folded corners do require extra attention for cleaning and drying. Whenever possible, I line the interior of these pans with aluminum foil. By doing this, the pans stay clean. I hope this review was helpful for you.

Perfect Roaster Pan!!
This is everything I needed. It's big enough for a 7-8 lb. turkey breast, large pork loin, even to bake pork chops. The first time I used it, I lined the bottom with foil. Didn't need it. The second time I used it, I sprayed nonstick all over it. Didn't need it. Every part of this pan and rack is truly nonstick. Roasted a turkey breast yesterday. Put the pan and rack in the sink with warm water and a bit of dish soap and all the gunk floated off. Did not need a scrub at all. This is perfect and I love it. One of my best Amazon purchases.

OK, but you need to be careful when cleaning or you will gouge off the surface
This is a flat-stamped sheet-steel pan with a non-stick coating on both sides. The sides are folded like a piece of paper and rolled at the top edge, then welded together, so there are sharp inside corners and the top edge is somewhat uneven at the corner. This makes the pan somewhat harder to clean (than a smoothly rounded cast aluminum pan) and prone to the non-stick surface chipping at the corner, but it is cheaper to manufacture which is why the price is much lower than a cast-aluminum pan. On the plus side it is lightweight, and easy to clean if nothing gets "baked on" to the surface (but then, so is any pan). The metal is thin enough that it will flex when you put pressure on it, making it easier to gouge the non-stick coating off when cleaning it, so you need to "learn" how to clean this type of pan or you will quickly damage it. Some people have mentioned using a bamboo skewer to clean the corners, but you still need to take care not to press too hard with anything pointy or you will gouge off the non-stick coating. Similarly, flat plastic pan scrapers will gouge off the coating as well with too much force, and I managed to ruin the pan after 6 cleanings.Thick hard coatings like carbonized sugar are nearly impossible to remove without damaging the coating unless you use the proper technique. Once the surface becomes damaged, it will continue to delaminate each time you clean it. However, because the metal is relatively thin, there is one solution that may work well if you have large areas of thick, baked on coatings like a sweet glaze that has burned into the bottom of the pan. Just let it cool to room temperature, then place it in the refrigerator for an hour. The metal will contract and the burnt food will crack apart, and should be easy to remove from the pan at that point. I discovered this too late to save the first pan, but am buying another one in the hopes that it will last longer.

Perfect for smaller ovens
This roasting pan is the perfect size for our small oven. It worked wonderfully cooking our rolled stuffed turkey breast. Very happy with my purchase.
