The press works as expected and is perfectly sturdy, but even after washing, it leaves brown stains on the surface (following the grain of the wood) and makes your tofu smell quite a bit like bamboo.

This is a great press/mould. Packed w/o a box, but arrived safely and in great condition. This is a perfect size for converting 3 cups of dry beans into a block of firm tofu. Instruction to use were not in English, but it’s use is pretty intuitive. Also came with a pressing cloth and draining cloth for making soy milk. Very happy with this purchase.

Es buena prensa, pero deja el queso con un color Amarillo por fuera, debido al tipo de madera.

Clunky design. Poor ergonomics. Like that fact that it is made of wood and not plastic, but not a well thought out device. Am returning it.

Great for make tofu by myself.
