Fisher-Price Little People Toddler Toy Animal Friends Farm Playset with Music Sounds and 7 Figures for Pretend Play Ages 1+ Years

My son is only 10 months old but I didt want to buy any more infant toys and wanted something more interesting for him. He doesnt yet do any imaginative play with this toy on his own but it is a great teaching tool. Its also fun for us to play together. He will open and close the barn doors (only one of them makes a sound) and loves to hear me make the animal sounds for each animal. He puts the cow and horse into the barn and has fun taking it in and out. I think this is a great toy that allows for babies to grow into it and I can see this being lots of fun for toddlers. The characters are all a good size and made of durable material. He throws it on the ground constantly and they all look new. My dog even tried chewing on the goat and the goat is unscathed. I highly recommend this fun toy. It doesnt have a lot of bells and whistles but its great for the imagination! My son loves it when i sit down to play with all the animals with him. We take turns putting them into barn and I make the animal noises that make him giggle! Priceless. Pros: large barn is fun and inviting Very durable (barn and toys have been dropped many times) Comes with a good set of animals No annoying songs or lights, just a few animal sounds when you open barn door Can be played with open and closed Cons: wish the other doors made sounds too.

One of the best toys we've had so far. Pros - 6 animal figures, 1 farmer figure and 1 haystack - can be played without the farm itself - farm closes and can be moved around the room as a case (with all toys inside), I've even used it as storage for other small toys few times - figures are from hard plastic, and after almost 3 month of daily plays still look ok, minor scratches on paint, otherwise good - we bought it at age of 15 months and it was a hit from the very first day, at 18+ months is still the same hit and is used multiple times throughout the day Cons - farm sounds (when you open particular doors) are too short and useless - there is no real lock when farm is closed, from one side - it's easy for kid to open it, on the other side - I'd expect it to easily open if carrying with one hand

I purchased this for my cousin who is turning 4 years old. He opened it on his birthday and was delighted. He really enjoys putting the Little People figures down the silo so that they fly out the bottom. I like that the silo is open now, but we do miss the door on it. This has a lot more stalls than the previous Little People farms. It seems like the Little People product line is now including a lot of fold-up playsets, which is great for storage, but not so good for littles who tend to pinch their fingers. The farm is a lot bigger than previous LP farms, so it does take up a lot of space. It's definitely worth the money, and buying it here was $10 cheaper than the grocery store. Amazing, isn't it? The expansion packs for these aren't cheap (extra animals I mean), but all-in-all, a little one ages 1-5 will really love this set. Moo!

We ordered the Fisher- Price Little People Animal Friends Farm for my son for a christmas present. This farm is pretty big and his two stories and several places to put the animals. It has a cute little shoot you can put the hay in and my son likes to pretend it's a slide for the animals. My son opened this gift for christmas and absolutely loved it he was so excited to get it open and play with it. The little people animal farm was super easy to set up. It took me about 5 min to get it out of the box and have it all set up. The little people farm is so cute and comes with lots of animals! My son loves the horse and hay that came with the farm. The farm also makes noise when you open and close the gate there are several different noises the farm will make like music, farm animal noises etc. It also comes with a little farmer and my son loves to play with him as well. Whats really nice about the little people farm is it's easy to carry around and transport to different places and locations around your house, my son carries it everywhere. The nice thing is its super easy to wipe down if it gets dirty as well!! I highly recommend this product to anyone who has a child who likes to play pretend. My other son loves to chew on the animals as well so if you have a 9 month old it's great for them to participate in the fun as well!!

My son loves this farm! The animal sounds and music are not super annoying, I think Fisher-Price does a good job making toys with sounds the kiddos enjoy that don't make the adults want to pull out their hair. My son is 19 months old and he sometimes plays with this toy in... let us say, some creative ways! Imagine Godzilla terrorizing the city of Tokyo. So far it has stood up to the pounding, he will stomp all over it and it still looks new. He also loves it when it plays music, he will open the gates over and over again until it plays the song, and then he will quickly stand up and dance. Very happy with this one!

Much the same as a Little People House that I recently was able to review, I like this toy a lot and hope that the grandkids in the family come to love it as much as my siblings loved one of these that we had many decades ago. Realistically, it doesn't matter whether or not I like or love this toy as its purpose in our household is to serve as a toy that the grandkids will spend many hours playing with and hopefully loving as one of their favorites. As an adult, and as the person that was purchasing this item, I'm glad that it is still made as durably as it was decades ago (or at least it appears to be made that way). The one my siblings had lasted through several years and beyond and would likely still be available for some of my nieces and nephews to play with were it not for moisture issues in the basement of my parents old home. I don't doubt for a minute that this toy will also last and hold up to whatever abuse the grandkids may try to put it through. The figures remain adorable and are bright and shiny enough to continue to attract the attention of the children that would be playing with them. They are a bit more refined than they were when I was much younger as that was an area that the manufacturer could improve in over the years. Other improvements over time include the added sounds that will help to attract youngsters and keep them interested in playing with these toys. Storage of the smaller parts (which are not too small for most toddlers) within the barn is easy, simply close the barn in clam shell fashion and it is all stored together and ready for the next time you want to pull it out for playtime.

I purchased this for my 3 year old granddaughter. She loves anything "Little People" and has a new attraction to farm animals. I really did not know what to expect today because I had this set circa 1979-1980 as a child. I have to admit, I was impressed with today's version. If you are like me and remember it as a kid I don't think you will be disappointed. The people and animals are larger...probably because what we played with was actually a choking hazard! Therefore, they are “slightly bigger” little people. As it was in the past the people, animals, pieces and parts are all interchangeable with other Little People toys. The barn is cute and it comes with a horse, cow, chicken, sheep, pig, hay bales, and a farm boy. If you press in certain places the toy makes farm animal noises. This is a bit of a warning as I did not realize it had sound effects until after it was opened. The barn does need some minor assembly, but it was relatively straight forward and simple. The assembly did not require any special tools. The plastic appears to be good quality and durable. I gave this toy 5 stars because it did meet all of my expectations and our granddaughter loves it. Personally, I believe these types of interactive toys are important to developing a child’s imagination. Playing and pretending facilitates learning and builds curiosity in young minds. Fisher Price historically does well in this field and they have done so again with this product.

I got this and a few smaller sets to go with it for my one-year-old granddaughter. She has a 7 year old sister and it's difficult to find toys that both will enjoy. This is it! They both love it and play with it. My older grandchild has her own style of play using her imagination and my younger grandchild already puts animals in the stalls and opens and shuts the gates. There were quite a few animals here but I also got the Little People Tow 'n Pull Tractor and the Trike and Wagon as well as the Chicken Coop so they have plenty of animals and people for both of them. They both move the vehicles around and load them with people and animals. The Little People toys are wonderful with no sharp edges to worry about but cute enough for my older granddaughter to enjoy.

I ordered the Fisher Price Little People Farm for my granddaughter's 2nd birthday. It is her number one favorite gift. She absolutely loves it! Don't ever stop making this classic toy.

This is a great toy for all ages. Keeps them occupied for a long time. Also teaches them the animals and the noises they make. I like how you can buy additional pieces for the small occasions that can build the farm bigger
