My feet get cold pretty quickly within the first few minutes, and went numb after swimming 45minutes. I have to wear a short 3 mm neoprene sock inside this Blueseventy sock to keep warm enough for a 45 minute swim. The sock stays on well. I wear the socks inside my wetsuit. The bottom starts to peel a little after swimming for 1 month everyday. I don’t walk on land with the socks, only walk in and out of the pool and gently kick off the wall during lap swimming. To be fair, I should mention that I swim 200 laps every swim/day. So the socks start to peel at the bottom after about 6000 turns/laps (again, I don’t kick or push hard). In comparison, they are much more durable than the other cheap neoprene socks on Amazon that got dime sized holes within 2 weeks of same use. My main complaint is that these socks do not keep my feet warm in cold water.
