I love this thing. It’s a game changer. My press used to leak out and brew time wasn’t what I wanted but with this gadget it works perfectly. I like the reusable filter to save a little paper, easy to use and clean, a little pressure from the press and water flows out great, fit perfectly

I was not sure what I was expecting, but I do believe that it is living up to my expectations. I use it daily, and every cup is excellent. The only caution I have is that unlike a paper filter that leaks, this does make it a little bit more difficult to depress the plunger as I creates substantially more pressure. Mind you, this is not a complaint, just a warning, especially since the valve doesn't allow the AeroPress to sit flush in the funnel, so you have to make sure you don't over fill the press, because that can cause it to leak out of the top near the plunger.

I bought a similar item from another manufacturer and this was nearly as good for less money.Firstly, this will NOT turn your aeropress into an espresso machine! Don't believe the hype. What it WILL do is allow you to make espresso shots of reasonable quality very quickly and easily.The metal filter allows JUST enough fine coffee grounds to give the espresso some texture.The design (identical to previous item I purchased) allows you time to do whatever you need to do without gravity emptying the aeropress. You can stir after adding water then allow it to sit for a minute and stir again without losing a drop.The negative to this item is the filter doesn't have a directional marking. The edge is beveled on one side which may be difficult for some users to understand. The other version I purchased has a clear printing on the filter so it's impossible to make a mistake.Great price, good performance.

As loyal user from the original version of AeroPress, I never liked flipping, but love longer brewing.I bought this unit in June 2024, use it at least twice a day and am very happy with its performance.Never once has it leaked (still on the first of 2 included valves).While the stainless filter does a good job, I grind very fine and use the paper filters. That combination allow me to press harder, giving more "crema".My only recommendation is that when rinsing, be sure to have sink strainer in place, as I've almost lost valve.As an 86 year old guy, I heartily recommend this unit.

It was easy to use. The metal filter will fit either way, but if you have the completely flat side of the filter rim against the barrel of the AeroPress, it will not screw into place. It makes an amusing fart sound when you press the plunger down to extract the coffee. Using the old AeroPress filter holder, I was always used to removing the filter holder and then pressing the grounds and paper filter into the trash. You can do that with the metal filter, too, but first you have to whack the filter holder with your hand to knock the wet grounds away from the filter holder. Unscrew the filter holder and remove it. Then, use the plunger to push out the grounds into the trash.

Really wanted to like it given that it's so much less expensive than AeroPress brand, but: 1) for whatever reason it flares out in shape and won't fit on my Stanley insulated mugs, while the AeroPress does. 2) It also behaves differently - much harder to press down.Seems very well made

This is a nice upgrade to Aeropress. First, the seal of the valve makes prepping on a scale much easier. I set it up, pour in coffee by weight, add water by weight, then move to a glass and press. That is a lot less stressful than the feeling I need to press as soon as the water is in there. Second, while I thought I would prefer the paper filters because of ease of cleaning, this is better. There's no worry about the filter being out of place and the press exploding on press, the grounds still pop-out and the metal filter is cleaned in place with a quick rinse. I also think it is nice not to worry about having enough filters anymore or whether I get the stack filter wet while handling, this is easier. The coffee tastes much better, there is more complexity with the metal filter. The crema is more authentic. The ability to use less water and have a more espresso-like shot is a big upgrade. A cappuccino, now looks more like a real one with the very dark rich foam contrasting the milk foam. This is better on nearly all fronts. The one downside I see is that the bottom of the press, with this attachment in place, is now wider, so some mugs that were just fitting around the regular Aeropress, no longer fit. This is a tradeoff though. While the outside diameter is larger, the coffee is now being emitted from a smaller opening which allows this to press to be placed on top and outside of smaller vessels, like a smaller rim travel mug, and that can be pressed into without leakage. So far, that has been a nice advantage. On the whole, a big big improvement.

Stated this fit all Aeropress models except XL, but I bought it for my travel Aeropress and it did NOT fit.
