Derby Laces ORIGIN Wide 10mm Hockey Style Waxed Lace for Skates, Roller Derby, Work Boots, and Hiking

UPDATE: 5 YEARS LATER!!!!!!Still going strong! I'm on my 7th pair of boots without a fray or a single problem! I wish my boots lasted as long as these miracle laces! FOUR YEARS LATER!!!!!!! Seriously amazing laces!! I am still wearing the same pair of laces in my work boots! I'm on my 5th pair of boots but this is still the first pair of laces!! OMG Fantastic Materials and construction! They hold a knot so well! They don't loosen at all despite getting 10K+ steps a day! Even the plastic bits on the ends of the laces* are still intact- and I'm a manual laborer that is covered in water & chemicals daily but these puppies, aside from an occasional wash to get the dirt off, have held up and look as good as they did the day I bought them! Wow. *I know there's a name for that plastic thingy, but for the life of me I can't remember it right now.. just buy the laces, you'll love them for years TWO YEARS LATER.. Guys- I'm still wearing the same pair of laces in my work boots!!! I'm serious! They're amazing! I do between 8-10 thousand steps a day. They get soaked with water, they get extended sunshine, they get splashed with water/chemicals/dirt constantly.. and after 2 years, they aren't frayed or faded. I don't know how. I've been through 3 pairs of work boots since I bought these laces, and the laces still hold up. Original Review: I wear work boots which require a sturdier lace. My job doesn't allow us to wear colored laces :( These are subtle enough, but with a little bit of color that I can walk past corporate and not be singled out for breaking the rules. They're sturdy. They're vibrant. They seem as though they'll stand the wear and tear of my doc martens for years to come. Definitely will buy again, and definitely would recommend.

LOVE these laces! I can lace up my roller skates...and, because of the waxing, they STAY tied and intact during my whole skating session (1-3 hours)!! Love the color...they match my teal skate wheels perfectly.

These laces are great. The color is spot on with what's shown. I've had skate laces from other brands that just touching them made my fingers waxy; with these I thought they weren't waxed until I laced them on my skate and they stayed put. The company support is also great, and it comes with stickers which I really wish more companies would do.

I knew we were in for a treat when I pulled the shiny blue envelope out of the mailbox! From the added personal touch of a note in the envelope, and a free sticker, to the quality of the laces themselves, this was a great overall experience. Pulling out the old lace, it was thin, fraying, and cheap feeling. In comparison, the derby laces are heavy, thick, and feel very durable. Easy to lace up the skates, and they look great! I almost went for a more expensive option, but I’m very happy with these. Highly recommended!

My son always wants green laces. The ones I bought in the past were out of stock so I took a chance on these, even though they are listed as Derby laces. They are nice laces, good quality, good amount of wax, I always want heavy waxing. Stiff but not too stiff. We got these for hockey. They held tight over a tournament weekend. Tight to the point that you need to pull on them to unlace them. That’s how well they stay tight! I hate it when laces get loose when you’re not constantly pulling on them while lacing. Would definitely buy again.

Good laces and I would buy again just longer. My fault for not thinking what length laces my daughter would need for her hockey skates. I'd buy again- but make sure I bought the longer ones for hockey skates. Color: The color is really fun and my 8 year old likes them on her hockey skates

These laces are so pretty, and are super durable. I like that they are a little wider too, so they keep my lacing tight/where I want it.

I bought these laces for my roller skates ...love the color...just got them but so far very impressed with them ...know someone else with same laces who also had nothing but good to say about them
