I do not usually review knives but this knife has been an exception.The construction makes lots of promises. Force it through tubers and vegetables and there is no regrets.I have challenged its capability by way of different types of meats and it delivered!The price is generous and the performance is sublime. I do own a pair of huusks and this is not far off.Avoid grinder sharpening, use a decent Whetstone.Honestly just buy this knife....

Very nice good quality product,fast delivery smack on time. May i say that the transaction was spoilt by Amazon charging postage because i did not use Prime.I do not think this is good business sense.myself and many of my friends buy from ebay if possible because of this ( ROUNDABOUT) system.You must loose a lot of custom.I make these comments only to be constructive. I bought this for £7.77 and if it is AUS-10 steel it was a bargain. I do not have any of my professional kitchen knives or sharpening steel with me at the moment as they are stored and thought not only does this look like a good knife but a bargain. When I received the knife it was not particularly sharp which does happen with even extremely expensive knives though people that tend to buy expensive knives also know how to sharpen them. I actually then bought, not having my sharpening steel a sharpener with adjustable angles. A generic one for £5.61 with free Prime delivery, one of the 3 knife sharpener kind that is adjustable with adjustable angles with a scissor sharpener. Which had some work to do tungsten much more than 20 times then diamond emery and then ceramic. On searching Amazon for an adjustable angle sharpener I was surprised this generic one was sold from £5.61 for more and even up £158 so worth doing a search. This knife is heavy which some may not like but does look at least as good as in the photos including a good wooden handle with full tang. Again if you have searched Amazon looking for a 8 inch chefs knife the one I found of the same specifications made of AUS-10 steel as this knife by a well known kitchen knife brand and about the same weight was £125. Yes this is made in China then so was the well known brand that was £125.

The knife has a good weight and is sharp yet the tang does not match the lines of the handle, a little bit more grinding so everything is smooth would not have gone a miss. Price wise it is good yet to see how long it will take before I need to get it on the stone to put another edge on it.

For the price the is a very fine knife comes nice and sharp. It has a good weight to it and a good size. Handle is well formed and comfortable to use. Over all if you want a decent knife without over paying then yeh give it go I think you will like it.

I just read their product descriptions. A bunch of BS! I don’t think they know what shame means. It’s the first in my life that I’ve bought a brand new knife that couldn’t even slice a tomato. If I had to sharpen a brand new knife before I could use it, at least drop the frigging price. I guess the knife is just as sharp as the people made it! I have nothing against China. But in my experience, made in China usually mean poor quality! I should have known! Really disappointed!

For the price i like it,needed a quick touch up on the belt sander leather strop but near enough im fussy so touched up the edge worth it in my book.

Far better quality than expected for the price . Holds a good edge stsys sharp and a nice weight .

Cadeau pour mon fils , passionné par le Japon mes cadeaux anniversaire, Noel et autres occasion se tourne vers les articles japonais( couteaux, housse de couette, lampe, diffuseur d'encens et bien d'autres idées. Toujours pour des prix valables, un peu plus élevés selon les couteaux recherchés. Jamais déçu par mes achats.
