Great Sequel! Well written!!
I love the book! It came in good order (as I have come to expect from Amazon) and it was a fascinating read! It is a follow-up on the book titled Beethoven's Hair (by one of the same authors - Russell Martin) and presents the story of the lock of hair from Ludwig van Beethoven in a way that is much more accessible by the middle school age students whom I teach. Thanks for offering this great book!

Beethoven's Hair
An interesting mystery set and solved over the time since Beethoven lived and the present. If you are interested in composers and science, this book is very interesting. How great it is that aspects of the unknown reasons why people behave the way they do can be proven because of the advances in science today.

Book for teens
I thought this was the same as the adult version of Beethoven's Hair, and found it wasn't - but had interesting photos and drawings added. Will pass it on to my grandkids. Very interesting.

not a huge fan
I read this for a YA lit class targeting grades 8-12. I am not sure if anyone in grades 8-12 would find it riveting and would probably put it down pretty quickly. I found it pretty interesting, not as mysterious as the title promised.

Forensics
The history of the hair, the description about how the man wrote music with terrible illness and the final end to the story is a good and fast read.

Five Stars
Found this to be fascinating with many facts of Beethoven's life of which I was unaware. A quick read.
