Like, really well. I was sceptical, expecting to have to clean the brushes multiple times, or that they'd still be damp a long time after drying.It takes a minute to figure out what size sleeves you need. Make sure your brushes fit nice and snug or else they will wobble too much and fall when it starts to spin. Only one of my brushes was an awkward size. It fit but was hard to remove from the sleeve and might have stretched it a little. You really don't need much water or shampoo - just enough in the bowl to cover the bottom, really. Bit of a learning curve but after one or two tries you'll get the hang of it.This cleaned my brushes so fast. One quick ten second spin to get all the makeup out - and another ten second spin to dry. It really works! I am so glad I bought this. Before, I hated cleaning my brushes because it was such a process and they'd take a full day (or two) to air dry. But now I will clean them way more often because it's faster and easier. This is great because I'm a germaphobe and a skincare nut! But as soon as the barrel gets a little large - and subsequently heavier... this just does not have the power behind it. Was it better than air drying - yes. Is it worth it.
