Review from a trip across the country
First impressions: this thing is speedy. What you might not know is that the handlebars are charged separately from the main unit. However, you can charge them from the battery using the provided USB cable. There is not reverse, only accelerate and brake. The brake is a slow brake, not sudden. Riding around the apartment, I can tell it takes turns tightly but you may need to lean a bit for the tightest turns. It is also a bit heavier than luggage of its size but that is as expected having a motor within.Traveling through JFK (NYC): The suitcase stored about 4 days' worth of clothes for a guy. I was expecting to be stopped by security so I arrived a bit earlier to prepare. The luggage ended up going through a scanner called Analogic, which looks like a CAT scanner and not your normal X-Ray. Oddly enough they pulled aside my laptop for having a Moft stand attached but let this luggage right through with no questions. I ended up not riding in the airport as it was crowded and the terminal was located down and then up escalators. However, it does act as a quick place to sit sometimes. The staff at the gate also asked me to check that the luggage would fit in the overhead before boarding in a special box at the gate, it fit snuggly and I expected it would considering I've taken other luggage just as big on the same flights. The overhead bin was not a problem.Riding on the sidewalks in AZ: I bought this luggage specifically to try commuting to work from the hotel in AZ. The sidewalks seemed highly unused and flat in comparison to those found in NYC. The trip is about 3 miles and would take about 1 hour walking. I've done the walk several times during a previous trip. The number 1 piece of feedback is that you will feel any bump/crack in the sidewalk. This includes the line that separates the panels of concrete. Additionally, this unit doesn't do well with inclines; you'll need to gain some speed to go up curbs and in some cases, you'll fall off because the curb is slanted. About halfway through the trip, I decided to walk to unit over the curbs just to be safe. Also, something to note; if the handlebars are out the unit is difficult to trolley with the extendable luggage handle. This is because when the handlebars are inside, they are fixed in place tightly. When they are out, they are able to turn. I tried leaving them out for the curbs and crossing the street; it was challenging to steer by trolleying in this state.Traveling through PHX (AZ): After successfully flying through JFK, I didn't expect to have any issues coming back. Going through security and a standard X-Ray, the bag was pulled aside. I explained what the bag was and we emptied out a bit of it (it's not that deep so even emptying it isn't too much of a hassle). The TSA agent did need to call a supervisor over but, the supervisor seemed pretty cool about it. I packed my stuff back in and headed for the gate. No one asked about the sizing here. It also goes to show that some airports have different people handling security.Final thoughts: I ended up not riding it in the airports. I think they end up being pretty busy and I was expecting to be stuck behind large groups anyway. I wish there was some solution for shock-absorption for bumpy terrain. When trolleying the unit as luggage, I recommend that you push the unit in front of you instead of pulling it behind you. Because the extendable luggage handle is on the top side of the unit, the balance of the wheels is off and the whole bag will wobble when not heading in a straight line when pulling. This causes it to eventually tip if you're walking quickly. Pushing the unit gives you more control and dampens the wobble.

Useful but heavy.
This suitcase is good for ppl who can’t walk long distances at the airport. But it’s heavy itself. So u can’t put much in. 9 kilos, when limit some airlines is -10. So put all ur stuff to ur main luggage and keep this just as a vehicle 😃. Other than that its a such a lifesaver!
