Product Description Rapala Jointed Fishing Lure, 2", Rainbow Trout From the Manufacturer Slight exaggeration of Rapala's unique baitfish in distress action. Can be fished like the Original Floating, top to bottom. It is the perfect choice after a cold front, when fish are traditionally finicky and in a negative feeding mood.

Review: Oldie but goodie... - You can't go wrong with anything Rapala they have the best action. The jointed minnow is one of my favorites to use. It swims at about under a foot deep the key to this lure is to stop and retrieve, bass can't deny this lure neither should you.
Review: I've Bought TWO! - I purchased this lure at a sporting goods store and went fishing in my kayak. I caught 3 nice sized bass within an hour of fishing with it. Then I hooked the biggest bass I have ever had on my line with no net, with old line on my pole and in a kayak - what do you think happened? Yep - Bye Bye big fishie and bye bye new lure! I was so disappointed and my fiance thought it was funny. I searched on here and found my new favorite lure here for a better price than my previous purchase at the sporting good store. I love the action of this lure. It stays in the top 3' of water. I got quite a bit of bite action by letting it sit on top of the water for a moment before reeling. Our lake has a lot of algae that grows along the bottom so I really appreciate a lure that will swimming under the water without diving so deep it drags all that algae around with it. The color mimics a minnow very well. The jointed designed gives it a unique swim that I think really catches the fish's attention. In clearer water, it's fun to watch the fish follow the lure before they strike. As I mentioned I was so happy with it that I bought a second one when I lost the first to a fish. I told my fiance I was going to catch that fish again and get my first lure back out of it's lip. So far I have had no luck with that endeavor, but I refuse to give up. LoL! I have caught many fish on this lure and plan to catch many more! (I keep a net in my kayak now for the bigger ones. ) This does have treble hooks small enough to catch larger brim and hook large mouth bass. Brim put up a fun fight, so I like to fish with this size hook where I can catch both species. This is definitely a top lure in my tackle box.

A: I ordered the number 5. 2inches 1/8 oz. You have to order the size that you want. Rapalas come in multiple lengths. The jointed versions are little longer. I use the smaller lures.
