It's a brand! The hairpins of any other brand basically don't hold my thin hair. I only use them for years and love them with all my heart. Not a cheap thing, but a quality one fully justifies the price. They last a long time, sophisticated design. Favorite!!

Excellent quality and gentle on hair.
This Camila Paris tortoise-shell barrette is beautifully made and feels very high quality. I especially like the rubber grip on the clasp — it helps protect my hair and also keeps the barrette from slipping. I came back to order another one!

Extended length hair barrette
I bought this long hair barrette because someone with long hair posted a picture of it. I was able to get all of my hair up in it also . It didn’t snag or pull at my hair at all. It’s very pretty . I really like it . It’s hard to find an extended length hair barrette.

NOT FOR THICK HAIR
Lovely barrette but not for thick hair. I have ordered several of these because they are attractive, but this barrette came with the clasp either damaged or just attached off center. I began a return and took the item to the UPS store, where it was scanned and I have the receipt, but Amazon has not credited me for the return. I went to the UPS Store today for help and they said they had no way to either confirm what was scanned at their store, nor track the return by the number on their receipt.

Worth the price
I love this barrette style - much longer and thinner than average. It also has a black fabric covering the bottom clip, which I guess helps protect your hair better? I have thin hair, so this works perfectly. No snags or loose flyaway hairs for this one. It's pricier than other options, but few barrettes are made in this style, so it's worth it to me.
