Great Value & Audio Performance (Focus on Setup)
Great Value & Audio Performance (Focus on Setup)Excellent immersive sound for movie night, setup takes a little patience!I couldn’t be happier with this 5.1 surround sound system for our living room setup. The sound quality is fantastic for the price—crisp dialog from the center speaker and impressive bass from the subwoofer during action scenes. Surrounds really fill the room well.My only minor note is that running wires across the room for the rear speakers took a bit of time and cable management, and the included speaker wires are slightly short if you have a larger room. However, once everything is plugged in and calibrated, it performs like a system twice its cost. Highly recommend!

AA5170 x 8 custom extreme surround sound home theater system absolutely outstanding!
Absolutely outstanding the AA5170 acoustic audio buy goldwood is a pretty unique little home theater system I bought the system back in 2019 just to get good sound for my 42- inch HDTV one of them pretty good sound not too bad use the Bluetooth and SD card and FM radio for a while but mostly using it for my surround sound for the television we hooked it up to my 55 inch TV in 2020 still sounding good but something was missing it was flat on one side of the room the base is what I mean came up with an idea to buy a extra subwoofer couldn't find one to fit the bill so I was going to scrap that idea Something Told me just buy another one put a 3.5 splitter in between it to split the signal and put it on the other side of the dresser so I did that in 2021 and what a great idea the sound changed more Fuller more stronger more Bass two units 5.1 surround sound system and I was enjoying it then I said you know I can do something with these units because what I had just did wasn't ever done before to my knowledge with this type of unit so I decided to do an experiment try different items and see will it work with this system I did that started coming up with more ideas as I went along decided to buy two more units oh my God sound changed again this time the base more stronger vibrating the floor and walls it turned it into Dolby Atmos because I had put the speakers on the walls uppers and lowers and rear and I had an EQ hooked up to I figured that out was able to control the base trouble in mid-range it was awesome brought a friend over to test the sound level she had a gadget with a mic and meter and the power that we pushed out was over 1400 Watts of sound power and I didn't turn it up as loud we may have have got more power if I turn it up a little bit more or a lot but the sound was totally clean even if I turn it up louder it states 700 Watts total power for one unit I can't give it that but I can give it 70 Watts for one of them but even one has good power and sound and with eight for each unit that's brings it up to 560 Watts of power plus sound power for all eight of them plus a little more with everything connected up to it felt like I had two powered j b l 18s Subs speakers connected up to these units. With these units I wasn't using the Bluetooth or FM radio or USB anymore the preamp that I had hooked up to the system had all the functions that the surround sound system has BT for Bluetooth FM radio SD card USB so I was just using the units for the speakers the amp inside and the processor which became a good experiment that turned into a project I highly recommend the aa5170. 71. and 72. And all the acoustic audio portable surround sound systems that they make you could do just what I did with all of them when you get more of them which there are 5.1 surround sound systems it turns them into channels more channels when you have several more you can do a lot of things with this unit expanded additional unit you already have or add on to another unit by another brand with this unit the ideas is unlimited the game has been changed for units like this and the aa5170 has paved the way I highly recommend it my custom sound is Ultimate extreme this is the best who knew that you could use professional equipment with a consumer items I didn't know until now this is a long story so I highly recommend buying this unit and if you want more sound buy another one and connect using adapter and splitter to split the signal and create your most ultimate system but there is one thing if you used the Bluetooth SD card FM radio you can only use one or the other unit you can't use both at the same time that's why you need to get a preamp with the same functions that the aa5170 has it will be complete because you can use both units at the same time. You can build the most outrageous system with these units highly recommend aa5170 71 and 72 + all the rest of them order this unit you would be really happy if you did incredible inexpensive 5.1 surround sound system,,

Good value for the price, good sound.
This item does not come with batteries for the remote. Make sure you have 2 AAA batteries for it.Installed this home theater system yesterday, and I would say I am very pleased with the sound quality, and I feel like it is a good value for the price (approximately $121.00). Setup was easy and straightforward, item was well packaged. My previous system was a Logitech 5.1 system that was close to decade old, and I can say this system has much better sound quality. I'm noticing many things in music and streams I did not hear before. The remote isn't overly simple or too complex, has features for an FM tuner, a dvd player, and to adjust volume separately for sub, center, front, & surround speakers. There isn't much else I can add about the item after only about 24 hours of operation.I will report back and edit the review if any problems develop.

This speaker system has some power to it. I was impressed!
I had my eye on this for a little over a year, but finally made the plunge when I needed to have something for a party that required music. I bought this really focused on having something with a good amount of power. I read some reviews on here for these speakers and some were good, some where bad, so ultimately this comes down to personal opinion. The speakers arrive in a nice box. As I opened the package, my first thought was "these speakers seem a little small. I'm not sure that these will be loud enough." I plugged in just the sub/receiver and the center speaker and had the volume at 15 (30 is the max) and I was shocked at how loud it was. I took it up to 30 and my roommates and neighbors were a little concerned about the noise - again, only the sub and center speaker - I hadn't even plugged in the remaining 4 speakers. The bass from the sub is amazing!I haven't had the time to test all the speakers connected, but I'll update this review in a few days.UPDATE (After a few days later)I am still really impressed with these speakers! I managed to do a sound test at a friend's house that has a big backyard, this time connecting all 5 speakers. This little set did an impressive job by my standards. My friend was equally impressed with the audio. The controls seem basic, but provide means for controlling volume for the surround speakers individually from the front speakers, the sub, etc - that's nice to be able to adjust the speaker zone volumes.I actually ended up buying two because I was a little concerned that I might not have enough sound from this system for an outdoor venue, but one was enough. Nonetheless, I did a sound test of both simultaneously using a 3.5 mm y splitter to an aux source and the sound was impeccable. No delays, no issues, no regrets at all. I'm keeping the secondary unit; the price is too much of a bargain. My apologies in advance to my neighbors.Would I recommend this system - Absolutely!

Sound System Worthy of 8th Circle of Hell
I think this may be my first review on Amazon. So up until this point nothing has ever angered me enough to the point of writing a review.Let me start off by saying, I enjoyed these speakers the first month or so when I had them. Pretty good sound. The option to switch from 2.1 to 5.1 with a push of a button. I mean the remote is fantastic, when it works. However, after that month was up, they started making this shrill noise. It's like a Tinnitus simulation. Or it sounds like they're picking up sound waves from another dimension. Absolutely terrible. The sub makes a constant tapping noise. Not sure what causes it, and if it's not tapping the standby light on the front will make the speaker plus the sub emit this low tone. Are people trying to contact me through morse code? Who knows?! Any movie or music that is playing constantly gets interuppted by these sounds. Really, it can be a combination of all of them (minus the standby one) I think these speakers were not wired correctly or not grounded properly. Also, the front left speaker blew out recently for no reason. I'm not really the kind of person to crank the volume to 11, or in this case 30. So I'm not sure of the cause of the blowout.I bought these mostly for the Bluetooth feature, and for the fact I really didn't want to be wearing headphones 24/7. Bluetooth connectivity is subpar at its best. Randomly, sound will cut out, or more noise distortions. These distortions are different, they are like muffled sounds like when you haven't plugged in your aux cord all the way. This is all happening with my phone being only feet away from the sub. It even happened with my phone resting on the sub.I feel cheated after buying these. The Amazon return policy was up right before all these troubles started happening. This was one of the few purchases that I whole heartily regret on Amazon. If you're in the market for speakers, you might as well just spend the extra couple hundred and get good quality speakers. I'm now saying this now because I'm at the point of just throwing these speakers away, due to the reasons I stated above. I just can't take these terrible noises anymore. So if you're planning on buying these, you might as well just toss a hundred bucks into the trash.

Great Audio System!
I bought this back in December of 2023 and I set it up in my RV and couldn't have been more happy with this. I connected to my Bluetooth effortlessly and the sound is great. We bought a house and I brought it inside and connected it to my TV with an optical cable and the sound is awesome. I also created a Moode Audio player on a Raspberry Pi with an Audio DAC and the sound through there is awesome as well and I am able to pick up a few FM stations even though I do not listen to FM since I have a lifetime SiriusXM account. I suggest getting the 3 yr protection plan as I think i blew out the sub woofer speaker but it the 2 yr protection plan I bought expired in Dec. of 25. I contacted Goldwood and they are shipping me a new sub for 69 and throwing in a remote and free shipping! I added their website to my favorites (goldwood dot com) as they have a lot of audio equipment I am interested in especially their outdoor Rock speakers and I also 3d printed some speaker covers to dress it up a little. Thanks Goldwood for the great customer service!

Some good things, some bad.
There are things I like about this and there are things I hate about this. He are the things I like: it has decent sound. The bass can be a bit boomy, but it sounds excellent at low volumes. I live in an apartment so I haven't had the opportunity to see how loud it can get. The FM radio receiver is decent, Bluetooth works as it should. Auxiliary works fine. Haven't tried the SD card or USB ports. Remote works fine. The functionality has something left to be desired. Here is what I don't like. The speaker cable is permanently attached to the speakers. If at anytime, I should get a short in the cord or my cat decides to chew through it, I will have to splice the cord. Also, the cord is a very small guage and the ends are RCA connectors. I was almost okay with the ends being RCA, but but had I known the other end was permanently attached, I may have chosen a different set of speakers. Plus, the cords are not nearly long enough for my average-sized living room. Another issue I had was the volume resets every time you turn it off. I don't know if that happens to everybody else's or if it's unique to my speakers. Let's say I turn it on and it's on 18. I turn it down to a reasonable level like 14. Then I reduce the bass volume to 12 so as to not disturb my neighbors. Later, when I want to listen to my tunes, the volume and bass levels are back to 18, which is blaring at 5am.Aside from that, the speakers look sharp and sound pretty good. Not audiophile standards, but feasible enough for an action movie or some tunes.UPDATE: I have had this for about 6 months now. I still feel the same. The issues I have with this are, I have to reset the volume, speaker levels and prologic mode everytime I change sources and the surround isn't good. I don't remember prologic surround sounding this muddled. There is little separation between speakers. You are better off with a 5.1 or 7.1 system. And my biggest pet peeve: the SD card doesn't go all the way in. It sticks out leaving it vulnerable to breakage. Not a huge deal, but it annoys me. Aside from that, it still works.

For a reasonable price, this is a good budget system. Sound is realy suprising coming from these small speakers.
I crossed my fingers when I ordered this. The name I have not heard of. Although there is a lot of that out on market now. Not like old days.I had, from amazon, a Sony book shelf 2.1 CD/USB/FM unit. Have this setup in my study, small compact. It lasted about a year before the cd drive died. So much for name brands. I am still a little old school, as I don't mine loading a cd on a player. I use a USB also, (new age stuff), very cool. Still wanting to use my cd collection and wanting to go cheep, I went to goodwill and bought a pioneer cd player for 7 bucks (real nice multi disk). After making sure cd player was good to go, on my home (big) system, I had to decide on a power and speakers source. So to go with a receiver and speakers, or a powered surround sound setup to keep things still in a somewhat small package. This has, "so far" fingers still crossed, been a good choice for me. It has plenty of power "watts to go" and with what seems to be a good cd player matched with this units built in USB I have all kinds of music choices. The remote works fine for me and the FM radio works well, although my main use will be to play my music. The only thing is those darn speaker wires, but I have been dealing with wires all my life, so a little longer will be okay for me. good luck to all. Oh! you can connect this to a TV also for those who want too.

De acuerdo a su precio
En la relación calidad-precio muy bien tiene una salida de sonido buena y el diseño es bonito, si necesitas que tú habitación suene muy fuerte habrá que invertir en algo de mayor precio
