My new favorite shampoo and conditioner!
I've only been using this and the conditioner for 1.5 weeks, but I am already pretty satisfied with these products. I have been suffering from dandruff for approximately 2-3 years. Initially I tried a couple dandruff shampoos (Neutrogena and Head&Shoulders Classic Clean) and none of them solved the issue. I tried L'oreal (the one that claims has no sulfates) and it didn't work either. I then changed to Head&Shoulders Clinical Strength (the one on the dark blue bottle with orange shampoo) and I finally found the one that resolved the dandruff and itch issue. However, I didn't want to over do it with the "extra strength", but whenever I changed to any other brand my scalp became itchy and flaky in a matter of days or just a couple of weeks and I had to go back to H&S. Now, I decided to get a 100% organic shampoo because H&S was starting to make my hair oily and even when I had just washed my hair, it felt heavy and greasy. After 1.5 weeks of using Christina Moss Shampoo and Conditioner I have been able to know what it feels like to have a clean scalp and bouncy hair. I have very fine, straight hair with not a lot of volume, and these products give it the volume I was looking for. Granted, my hair still gets oily because I practice yoga at least 5 days a week, sweat profusely, and I live in Puerto Rico where the weather is hot and very humid, but every time I've washed my hair with the CM shampoo it leaves it feeling light and clean. The first two or three times I washed my hair with it, I noticed white flakes on my head that I don't know if it was dandruff that was starting to come off as I had gone back to H&S Classic Clean before deciding on CM, but they have disappeared since then and my scalp is seldom itchy. It is true what other buyers have said and the seller about washing your hair twice as the second wash will generate a thicker lather and will leave it squeaky clean. I still haven't tried leaving a small amount of conditioner on after towel drying my hair, but hopefully I will give this a try when I go to the beach during the summer. The only think I am still getting used to is the fact that my hair doesn't have that fragrant smell after I wash it, as I really liked that about my previous shampoos - maybe the only thing I really liked- (the CM shampoo has basically no scent and the conditioner only a mild, but very pleasant smell that doesn't really linger on my hair). This is a definite must if you're looking for natural, organic products. Knowing that my body is not absorbing any harmful chemicals is also a huge relieve and gives me peace of mind.

Thank you very much!
I've been actively incorporating natural and organic products into my life after a lengthy period of thorough research into all the toxic chemicals that make their way inside products that people typically use daily - a big one was shampoo. This was particularly worrisome to me because I've always had really thick, long, oily, and big hair that's quite a pain to maintain normally, especially with constant use of traditional shampoos that strip my hair of all its natural oils, which makes it extremely dry and knotted up often. Even looking into many shampoos that label themselves as "natural and organic," I've found shady chemicals on the back of the bottle, so the idea of a truly natural shampoo seemed like an impossibility to me for a while. I started up my search again recently, and this one came up! The ingredients checked out, and the reviews boasted good faith, so I took the chance of trying it, and I will affirmatively say that it's been one of the best purchases I've ever made. Right away, after the first time using it in the shower, my hair felt softer and easier to brush when dried. The natural oils in my hair weren't stripped! (Which I guess makes perfect sense since its natural, but this was still quite a shock to me; I got so accustomed to days of not being able to wash my hair again because it would feel so dry and brittle after using shampoo too much.) There was a very light floral fragrance that was rather pleasant, and a little actually does go a long way - coming from someone with a lot of hair, mind you! Additionally, the product's organic nature and freshness (since new batches are made consistently) gives me so much confidence in knowing that I'm using something that truly works, without being harmful to my body. I can also feel comfortable in using shampoo daily now, and this is so huge to me. For the majority of my life, there has not been a day where I wasn't insecure and ashamed because I felt like I was dirty for going days without washing my hair, not to mention, my hair generally looked like it wasn't well-kept because of the dry, stringy appearance it often had. Keep doing what you're doing guys! I honestly love this stuff, and would be happy to continue using it for a long time. Thank you very much!

Exceeded my expectations by far!
I'm into all natural and organic products and I was impressed with the ingredients list of this product, while being very unenthused by the products I've tried in the past. Initially I was disappointed by the size of the bottle, until I used it! I've used many natural shampoos before over the last few years. I rarely buy the same natural shampoo again. I am also used to using quite a bit of product to get the lather and level of clean I'm looking for, and I'm just a guy with relatively short hair. Before receiving the product I received an email from the seller basically giving me all the typical heads-up tips when using these types of shampoos. You know, warning you the product may not lathering as you might expect, and maybe even needing to wash more than once. Nothing shocking, nice that they include that, though -- we've seen it all before. It turns out that this product lathers the BEST out of any natural product I've used. It leaves the BEST feeling of clean out of any natural product I've used. Better yet, I probably use less than half the amount of product to clean my hair than I ever did before -- and never have yet needed a second wash. So with that, I feel this product has blasted past my own expectations, even before the seller sent the heads-up. I will absolutely be buying this product again!!

Works for me!
I think the shampoo is great. It cleans my oily hair well and it does not feel dry after. I always wash my hair twice because it is oily. The CM company also instructs to wash your hair twice during shower time. The shampoo foams nicely with enough water. It seems to not have a fragrance, which is why I gave it four stars. I thought it would smell like lavender but there is no scent at all. After reading the ingredients, LOL there is no lavender in the ingredients! The packaging has the photos of lavender on the bottle and I just assumed it was lavender! My mistake. It does say it contains rosemary extract but I truly don't notice any scent. Great product for someone with sensitivities and allergies that like scent free products. This is a small bottle 8oz. I thought the bottle would be a bit bigger for the price. Using it twice a day, it goes pretty fast. The packaging was excellent and the shipping was really fast too. I would order it again despite the lack of fragrance, it works well for my hair type and I appreciate the all natural, truly pure ingredients. The follow up from the CM company is great after the purchase. Everyone has different hair types. I am not sure if CM has any samples of products to try. If they did I would give it a try.

Awesome.
Unfortunately, safe products are not easy to come by. And sometimes they don't give you the same effect as the conventional products you are used to. In my experience, this one does better! I haven't used conventional hair products in years, so I'm not sure about the transition that they describe. I was looking for something that had a better ingredient list and better quality than what I was currently using, and I just wanted to switch it up. I cringed at the price tag but figured I would return it if it didn't live up to the price tag. But it does. A little goes a long way, I have shoulder length hair and a dime size amount is enough for me as long as I lather it in my hands and start working it in around my scalp at the roots. It has such a luxurious, silky feel/lather. And it cleans very well and very gently. My hair gets oily after a day and it helps with that. I can go without conditioner and it doesn't look too scraggly but I think it primes my hair so nicely for conditioner. I've used it with a different conditioner but not the same brand conditioner, so I can't comment on that. Thanks for making such a great product!

Will no longer be using this brand!
My entire family has been using the Christina Moss brand shampoo, conditioner and face wash for 10 years now. However, recently the formula has changed. I started having a dry, flaky scalp and my daughter developed blister like bumps all around the beginning of her scalp! It is very disappointing that we will no longer be using a brand that we loved and trusted.

Christina Moss Shampoo
Unfortunately this shampoo gave me a rash and hives. I'm not sure what in it would do that, but it's the only thing I've used recently that could be the cause. After the 3rd use it seems to have enhanced my wavy-curly hair somewhat giving me more ringlets than usual (which was pretty cool) but it left my scalp a bit itchy (besides the rash) and my hair a bit frizzy. It doesn't really have a smell, which is a good thing. Maybe it's slightly earthy smelling? but that's fine by me. I'm still trying to figure out how to make the conditioner work for me, but that's a different review.๐

This is a wonderful shampoo than is moisturizing enough to double up as your conditioner (even though CM has their own conditioner already). I own about 85% of products from the Christina Moss line because I really think the product quality is amazing. First off, let me tell you about my hair. I have healthy hair that gets a little dry at the ends (no split ends) BUT I have a VERY oily scalp. The longest I can go without washing my hair before it looks like I dipped my hair in Crisco is at most two days. I also have eczema (AD) and a variety of skin allergies to parabens, tree resin, bacitracin, epoxy resins, quinolone, and wool alcohols (lanolin). Unfortunately, a lot of hair care products and cosmetics have these products. Due to my skin allergies, everything will be fine until several months later when I get a massive eczema flare-up from using the wrong product. I went to the dermatologist, found out what I was allergic to and decided to be proactive about my skin's health and that's how I first found out about Christina Moss. I needed a shampoo that would clean thoroughly without over-stripping my scalp of oils (which actually causes your scalp to produce more oil), but it also had to be hydrating yet light enough that my hair would not be a puddle of oil by the second day. I've used everything from drugstore brands to high end brands. The last brand I used was from Alterna. While I found them to absolutely divine as far as how it made my hair look, my hair was weighed down and slightly itchy despite Alterna being sulfate-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free, and etc. I also have very slick, thick, straight hair that fell flat. I loved Alterna but I hated that their volumizing shampoo had so many extra chemicals. This shampoo is light, works into a great lather, and actually made my hair super thick and shiny with a whole lot of volume. A lot of people will complain that it doesn't lather as well because they are associating the lather with cleanliness (which is an effect created from specific ingredients). This shampoo will give you a very squeaky clean as opposed to a silky (coated strands of hair) clean. If my hair is dirtier than usual from using styling products or if I need a deep clean, I wash my hair twice and start with a half dollar amount to my scalp. (my hair is down to my armpits) I lather and wash it by raking my hair in a front to back of the head motion using broad strokes (like if you are being shampooed by another person). For some odd reason, this produces a better lather than swirling hair around or using a scratching motion. I let it sit for five minutes. It rinses off easily and if I do end up shampooing it for a second time, the lather is way more luxurious since both the scalp and hair are much cleaner. This review is much longer compared to my other reviews but I hope you get the full gist of it. I would definitely buy this again.

This is a beautiful product...
This is a beautiful product. Our son is chronically ill so we are removing all toxins from his diet . This shampoo lathers just the right amount ,cleaned his hair wonderfully . it leaves no bubbly residue in the bath and helped him relax and sleep well. In my opinion it is the perfect choice for young children . I now feel his bath is a safe place not a dangerous soak in harsh chemicals . Thank you for creating this amazing product a parent can feel good about !

This shampoo does a pretty good job
I have a lot of trouble with an itchy scalp and have tried many different shampoos and soaps. This shampoo does a pretty good job. I only have a minimal amount of itching so far. I like that you only need a little to get a lot of lather.

It's nicely concentrated so I don't need that much of it ...
It took a little while to get through the transition period, but it was well worth it! It's nicely concentrated so I don't need that much of it and I find I can go longer between shampoos so the bottle lasted longer. I just got my hair coloured before I purchased and I noticed that the colour wasn't running down the drain as it has in the past with other shampoos. I'm very happy with this Shampoo and will be purchasing it again.

Drying effect?
Even though I love the fact that it is a pure natural product, after 2 weeks of using it my scalp started to itch. I have to use a conditioner (which I don't really like doing,) so it doesn't feel dry.
