I read almost all the reviews on this product. Allow me to indulge you with my experience of this product. It does look high-end, brushed nickel, and has an abstract design to it. I had zero problems using the screws and anchors they provided me with.  Drill a pilot hole and there will be no issues-even better if you can sink into a stud. I angled it slightly off-center and pointed it a few degrees upward, so there was no chance of it falling off. The way I positioned it perpendicular to the commode, so when the paper is torn off it will not fly off and bounce away, leaving one high but not dry.  It is stupidly easy to install-just about moron proof. It really upgraded the bathroom project. I am definatly ordering a second one for our other bathroom.  If you have hesitations or are having trouble making decisions on to buy or not to buy.  Knock it off, add it to your cart and proceed to checkout ASAP!

My experience is this design works the best. It holds the roll on - even when bumped. The roll stays put when spinning during removal of toilet paper. I definitely would buy again.For what it's worth - I have tried the design with a slight curve on the end. IMO poor design. Any little bump and the roll goes flying, and when spinning during removal of toilet paper it is unstable.
