So, my search began to see if I could find a remedy. I discovered that several oils have the ability to promote growth, the main one (that my daughter recommended) was alma oil. I tried a sample of hers but I found that the smell was a bit too much to use on my hair during the day. Not a bad smell but a bit 'glaring'. Continuing my search, I came across repair oil, and purchased right away (I was sold with the combo of Argan, Amla and Marula oils).Since I still must give the oil time to work (I've only been using it for 2 weeks), I will say this: 1) love the packaging...the applicator is perfect for strategic application; 2) the smell is very pleasant....everyone has their own sensitivities to smells so I won't discount others who do not like the smell. But for me, it has a very light, pleasant, non-glaring smell.
