Camelback toyota seller says this is high temp silicone grease .so can i use any high temp silicone grease in that case.if not why not.thanks

Personally I prefer all Toyota greases for my Lexus vehicles, however you will be fine using any high temp grease for your application. Good Luck...

Why should I purchase Toyota's brake caliper grease -vs- silicone paste or sil-glyde?

This stuff is expensive! But will save you a lot of headaches in the future. Many people have tried the non oem stuff to save money and the pins would froze up overtime causing them not to slide and the brakes would wear unevenly. Also some of the non oem grease would cause the rubber boots on the pins to degrade. I purchased this tube and used it on my lexus is250 with no worries.

Can we use for caliper sliding pins or this is for repair kit. Dont we use Lithium soap base glycol grease for caliper pins .Little confusion
