Not Bose quality.
While replacing my factory tweeters in my 2011 Avalanche LTZ, I learned that GM does not offer a Bose sound quality tweeter. They use this generic tweeter in all of their vehicles that come with a pillar tweeter, and slap a Bose cover over it. Kind of disappointing to find this out. The speaker itself is still good, but more disappointed in General Motors.

Replaced my truck speakers with the same OEM ones. Wasn't that big of a project to get it done.

Exact fit, but blew put quickly
To be honest, this is a genuine part that was easy to install and was an exact replacement for the previous tweeter that blew. That being said, about a month after replacement both at the same time, one of them blew out again. In not the type to blast my music loud either, so I have no idea why the new tweeter died. This is why I gave it three stars. I do have aftermarket speakers in the truck since one of the stock speakers blew and I'm wondering if that could be the reason the tweeter blew again?
