After. I do not suggest using it before shampooing, because the shampoo will remove all the benefits of the hair mask. :)

Is this product curly girl approved?

It was way too watered down for my curls but it is definitely curly hair approved. It smells sweet to me. It also came slightly opened not sure if thats why it was watered down or it's just like that. I'd buy again.
