Hometronix 12L Dehumidifier for Mould Moisture Damp Extraction with Air Purifier 24 Hour Timer LED Display Laundry Drying Function

It's brilliant for cloths drying, and a lot cheaper to use than the tumble drier! Had mine since November 2023, and absolutely delighted with it! Also, I use the water out of it to clean the windows, and to use in the steam iron, stops any limescale building up!!

We have used this dehumidifier in the hall and front bedroom. It certainly draws the water from out of the walls. It is quite simple to operate and not particularly noisy. I would not advice to use it whilst sleeping as it dries the air quite a bit.

I loved this so much, I have just encouraged 2 family members to make a purchase. I put this on yesterday afternoon and in the morning it had already extracted 1.5l of moisture out of the room! It’s a little bit noisier than I’d like but no much louder than a fan.

It's sturdy, easy to move about and to empty. Find the instructions a bit difficult to understand but in basic function mode works well and almost silent. Has night mode, 24 hour timer and ability to dry clothes in right location as takes moisture out of air. Not tried any of those yet. I would recommend for anyone who can understand the diagram instruction book. It has a cut out function if temperature is low, as in my cold flat, which is suppose to protect the machine but can be a bit annoying if you want continual function. I'm guessing they all work that way.

Bought to help speed up drying time for washing and keep damp and condensation down with drying washing indoors. Does just what I needed, so glad I didn’t spend a fortune on a well known model as this does the job perfect. Washing is dry within a day instead of hanging around for a few days. The noise level during the day isn’t really noticeable but overnight if you have it in a bedroom it is a little annoying. You can set it to night mode where it switches off when a good humidity level is reached.

Bought January 2024 (now Nov 2025) and use it to dry my clothes. Haven't used any of the alternatives but the tank fills up with lots of water and the moisture sensor is effective. Originally bought it to solve damp but of course doesn't fix the problem, only removes the air moisture. It does emit cold air but is reasonably quiet

Does the job. Bit noisier than expected and blows out cold air so makes the room feel cold but overall pleased as it works well and does the job. Washing drying indoors dry within a few hours and no condensation on my windows so very happy with purchase. Great value for money.

If you need a small dehumidifier for a small room, this is really good. It's easy to move around as it is on wheels, it's not too big and it doesn't make too much noise. However, it's not whisper quiet, so bear this in mind if you need to use it during the night as you will hear it. It works really well in one of my bedrooms, and keeps the humidity around 50%. You can set the humidity levels at 40% upto 80% in 5% increments, when it reaches the desired level, it shuts off. The water tank is quite small though so you do need to empty it quite regularly. You can attach a hose (supplied) to drain it so you don't have to use the tank, but you will need something to drain it into. I'm really happy with it though, it does what it says on the tin and keeps my room at my desired humidity. I just hope it lasts.
