I mix this with kelp meal and mycorrhizal to fertilize all my trees (ornamental crab apple, pine, cherry blossom, japanese maple, chestnut, willow). They are buried in small holes around the trees. It is very effective and the trees show noticeable improvement even after 1 application. Trees are growing more colorful leaves, shows significant growth, more flowers and fruits. ie Japanese maple was a bit dull but is now growing a more vibrant red. Willow was dying, but is now growing. All of my trees are much healthier, even those dying or struggling with pests. I apply 3x a year.
