It’s really light, pretty small and works great! The remote works perfectly also. Although it’s not blu ray, it works for what I needed/could afford at this time until I buy a blu ray one for my apartment as well. It was really easy to set up to my tv. The sound quality is also great. I turned up my tv volume then turned the volume up higher from the dvd player remote. If you’re on a budget like me, I would recommend this dvd player. I only have one dvd series to test until my others come in the mail, but so far it’s great! I tested it out on my projector and it works with that as well! I added a picture of it

We got this for my sister in law who is slightly disabled. We didn't get to set it up until last Friday the 21st, but I opened it and tested it before leaving and it was great. She needed a new one since her older model was just too old and didnt work anymore. Set up was a breeze, HDMI or RCA cables. Plugged it in and it played a few Ramones DVDs (the only reason we got this for her was for The Ramones), but when I put in one from her box set it did make a grind or whining noise. I took that one out, tried a burnt DVD and it played fine no sound. When I left her house this was where we were at. I have contacted support and will be going over tomorrow hopefully to troubleshoot it. I'm not too worried. The company seems to have some very good support for it's products. If anything I think the Box Set DVD was heavier and possibly could be the culprit. UPDATE: Support contacted me promptly. They were polite and offered a exchange if I took video of the player acting fussy. Turns out the player was totally fine. Sister in Law is happy and has a easy time navigating the menus. It's ease of use is a big benefit for anyone. Not sure why the initial grinding sound but it's gone now and everything plays fine.

I truly like this DVD player. It was real easy to connect it to my flat screen TV. I usually have a hard time with instructions but I didn't need the instructions it was so easy and simple to connect it. to me it is great quality for the price. When I played my DVD it showed good color and good sound from the volume. i plan on getting another one for for my 2nd Flat screen.

I was planning to buy an external hard drive to play my DVD videos and CD music but came across with TOJOCK CD player and I am glad I did. It was exactly what I was looking for.... a CD player for playing my music as I work online and a DVD player during my relaxing time. I got mine in the mail yesterday and here is a detailed review from my unboxing to installing with the pictures to support the explanation: Pic1: The box came with the DVD player, warranty card, very easy to read manual, HDMI cord, color-coded video and audio cord connectors, and remote control (2 AAA batteries not included). PIc2: I have a smart TV to hook it to so I only used the HDMI cord to connect. Pic3: I literally plugged and powered on to play, no installation required. Pic4: The video quality is as expected from your monitor of course. The remote control gave me options to adjust my preference into a widescreen or 2X bigger to make the video max out into my screen. There are also other options to view it in slow motion if you are like me when I want to see details of the video I am watching for added clarity of what just happened. Pic5: I also tried a collection of CD music to play into it, and surprisingly they work, The sound quality is also superb on my smart TV. I can use the remote to adjust which track I want to skip and listen to. Pic6: This is my work station set-up now, listening to music while working away. My laptop does not have a cd player so this (Tojock DVD/CD player) will be a regular in my work set-up now. Summary: I got what I wanted DVD player plus more a CD music player. The amount is not as pricey as other DVD players, so great price comparatively. Easy to install, practically plug and play. The product came a day earlier than expected, definitely a PLUS! A slight humming sound can be detected while playing a DVD but not really annoying if volume of monitor is adjusted. All in all a great buy for me.

Only used it one time; set up was easy, which I guess is a plus. The quality of the picture was pretty low, and I was quickly reminded how relatively cheap the device was, but overall the viewing experience was passable. Didn’t use it again for another year or two. When I tried, I could not get it to work. I couldn’t get past the main menu, much less watch a movie. At one point I was worried I wouldn’t even be able to get my DVD out of the machine because it was acting so dysfunctional. I did eventually, but I don’t trust it enough to risk putting another disc in there. This thing is absolute garbage and a waste of money.

This is a good product for a good price. I wanted something with HDMI and I don't know what they're called but the red yellow and white cords because if I ever get a new TV I know it probably won't come with the red yellow and white cords so it fit. Requirement. When I push the eject button it responded immediately unlike my Sony one that I am replacing this a few years old. So is responsive which is good. I stopped and ejected the DVD and put it back in and it held my spot which makes me very happy. I like the size of the remote control it's small so it doesn't take up so much space but it's not so small that is hard to manage. The cords were not long enough so I did have to use the cord from my old DVD player but most people I think have a DVD player closer to their television so I don't think that's an issue for most people. I love the size of the remote control but it does seem to have to be pointed a little more directly at the DVD player than my old one so that's the only reason for a slight reduction. I'll probably get used to the angle but it's got to be right on which means I've got to have my arm way up in the air. I did receive an incentive for writing this review but the opinions are mine it didn't tell me what star review I had to post just review.

Good value but frustrating quirks I’ve been using this DVD player for a little while now, and while it does its basic job of playing discs, I’ve run into enough small annoyances that I can only give it 3 stars. The good: it’s compact, lightweight, and comes with both HDMI and RCA cables, which makes setup very easy. It also supports multiple formats, so I could play both DVDs and CDs without issue. The picture up-conversion to 1080p is decent—nothing spectacular, but it sharpens older DVDs just enough to make them look better on a modern TV. Now for the drawbacks. The remote feels flimsy and doesn’t always respond unless pointed directly at the unit, which can be frustrating. The player is also a bit noisy when loading discs, and the interface feels dated—navigating menus is clunky. It claims to have a “breakpoint memory,” but in my experience, it doesn’t consistently remember where I left off in a movie, which is disappointing. Finally, while the USB input is a nice idea, it was hit-or-miss with the files I tried—some worked, others wouldn’t even load. Bottom line: This player works fine for casual use, especially if you just want an inexpensive way to watch DVDs. But if you’re picky about performance, build quality, or features actually working as advertised, you may find yourself frustrated.

Das Gerät ist erstaunlich wertig, liest auch ältere, verkratzte DVDs sehr gut. Das HD-Upscaling ist ebenfalls qualitativ gut. DVDs mit Region 1 werden auch anstandslos gelesen. Einzig der Sound ist etwas leise über HDMI, man muss den Fernseher ziemlich laut stellen. Alles in allem bin ich mit dem Gerät sehr zufrieden, fraglich wie langlebig es am Ende ist, aber das wird die Zeit zeigen.

Works a treat, very robust

This is an excellent DVD player in many ways. Compact in size, easy to set up, well made. This is a 10 out of 10.
