My first smart bulbs were C By GE, they work great over bluetooth and wifi, recent upgrades make them fairly easy to use, colors and brightness are great, love compability with assistant Amazon and Google.

I bought these light bulbs for my living room because my apartment has no overhead lighting. I wanted to be able to walk in my front door and tell google to turn on the lights so that I didn't walk into a pitch black apartment. While they work great as light bulbs I cannot connect them to the Google Home app. I can only connect them to the C by GE app so I have to turn the bulbs on and off by using an app on my phone instead of the voice command I wanted. This is apparently a known problem trying to link the C by GE and Google Home app that makes these unusable with a Google Home.

DO NOT BUY. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT. KEEP LOOKING. Changed to 1 Star. Customer service is terrible - tried to get some help and the service rep was awful - didn’t understand my questions - and was condescending. Also having used it the color temp and transitions are very jarring and low quality. It flickers while in use -regardless of the fixture. It's incredibly distracting. Want a bulb that I can program to change color temp throughout the day with: NO DIRECT INTERACTION aside from turning on the light switch NO ADDITIONAL APP STEPS to change color temp or turn on and off - still prefer the light switch and want color temp automated depending on time of day. NO VOICE ASSISTANT INTEGRATION because I can’t stand them and they are superfluous This GE bulb works fine and the basic functions are fine. The support, set up, education is garbage - they app does not make clear how different elements work together, what’s currently running, any good way to troubleshoot what the automation/scene/room/device programming is telling the devices to do. Disappointing. My desired experience is basic and right now I can’t get it to work and not sure if I can get it working with current set up. GE FAIL. They didn't even make it a good light bulb at it's most basic...

these were life savers with a new baby who needed the lights on for changing diapers and dimmed or off when falling asleep. especially great since we didn't have to disrupt baby sleeping by moving. placed in baby's room and loved so much we had to buy more so we could turn lights off in our room without having to get up. love these!

These bulbs are impossible to get them linked with google. I've spent hrs online trying everything with no success. They are easy to link to the CbyGE app but not google. Am very disappointed.

GE is an amazing company. There are probably a couple of angels in the GE executive chain. These bulbs are the cheapest, easiest home automation product I've purchased.

Easy to configure and very bright. Just what I was looking for. Google home integration.
