The book begins with “The Caregiver’s Prayer,” based on the principles of “The Serenity Prayer.” Each chapter in its four sections of head, emotions, lifestyle, and planning includes related quotes and Bible verses. Hope for the Caregiver concludes with a review of tips Peter calls the 1-2-30 Plan for Caregivers: H-E-L-P M-E Plan.

I am a caregiver for my husband. I was sinking low with the stress of it all. The Lord put this book in my path on facebook one day about two months ago. It has been the biggest help and blessing to me. It gave me so much freedom from guilt, and trying to do it all while my own health wasn't being taken care of. The one thing that set me free was that it is okay to be self-centered sometimes when I need it. My life has totally revolved  around my wonderful Godly husband and always putting my needs and feelings in last place.Thank you so much Peter for writing this encouraging helpful book. It has changed my life. I am on a new road physically, mentally and spiritually with more peace and joy in my life.
