We have a stand alone calcium product called CeliVites Bone Health that is a calcium product. **Q: Can the vitamins be split in half? I haven't been able to find any that meet this high of criteria for my 11 year old Celiac son.** A: That is a great question. But these are not tablets they are capsules so they cannot be split. If your son cannot take them because of the size there is no way past that. If it is the dosage that worries you we have parents who have their pre teens take a capsule every other day until they turn 14. This is an adult supplement so 14 an older is the guideline. However due to the fact that we used premium forms of each vitamin and did not mega dose they are often approved by our younger customers doctors for use by pre teens. Thank you for your question. It's Manufacturer is "Gluten Free Therapeutics". Not sure if they're non-GMO. I can't swallow horse pills.** A: Hello David: They are fairly big capsules, I thought, so not sure if they would work for you. However if you have Celiac disease, there aren't a lot of really safe options out there to depend on, you may want to try them. I found I couldn't do this product because they have a synthetic form of vitamin A and my body stores too much and I get sick. I found I can only do Gluten Free Vitamins that use beta carotene (or natural forms) of all vitamins. With synthetic forms of vitamin A your body is forced to store the vitamin, where as with beta carotene your body converts it into the amount of vitamin A it needs. This may not be a problem for you, for me it is as my body readily stores too much A and D (both fat soluble vitamins). At any rate - long story long, I am now using MegaFood Multi vitamin (they have a women's and men's) and you can find it at Whole Foods or possibly other local health food stores near you. For Calcium and Magnesium I use "Trace Minerals Liquid Cal/Mag/Zinc" which I found at my local "Pharmaca" store or you may be able to find this at Whole Foods too or Vitamin Cottage or on amazon. I have Celiac disease and have tried a lot of products, so far these two seem safe and easy to take. The nice thing about getting products at Whole Foods, is that if you keep your receipt - you can return any item and get your money back. So if you try MegaFood vitamins and feel the pills are too big for you - you can return them. Same with the Trace Minerals Cl/Mag/Zinc (if you get it at a Health Food Store).
