Should you handwash this item before use?

I poured a half ounce of bourbon into the flask and sloshed it around then poured it into the drain. A small loss to be certain it’s clean is worth it.

What is this made of? Some high proof acl. will go threw non comical resistance plasic.

My Makers 90 proof doesn’t break it down. It’s a fairly durable plastic material.

Where can a buy a replacement top for the flask? Or what is the dimensions for the black screw top?

I think you’d just have to throw it out and buy another one. I can’t picture them making replacement parts for it. The whole thing is made of cheap plastic, it’s not something that lasts longterm like a metal flask. It should be rinsed and dried completely between uses. Then only used occasionally when you really need to conceal the contents.
