Good gloss paint. Too early to comment on durabiility
I noticed the paint on my steel skinned front door started to crack over winter just gone. I last painted it 15 years ago using Sandtex One Coat brilliant white gloss using a foam roller, applied on top of thinly painted 5 year old gloss paint and grey primer. The door is north facing and protected by a porch so doesn't get too wet on rainy days. Lately, it was starting to look a bit yellow along side an exposed wooden post I painted 7 years ago with same Dulux paint. After lightly sanding the old Sandtex paint, I rolled on TWO coats of Dulux Weathershield One Coat brilliant white in gloss. Only time will tell how well this paint performs compared to previous Sandtex product. I normally buy my paint from local DIY store but neither B&Q or Wickes sell it, and Homebase is too far away. I ended up ordering it from Amazon UK. It wasn't any more expensive. The tin of paint came in its own Polycell branded corrugated cardboard box. The metal lid was secured with two pieces of tape to prevent spillage in transit.

Don't believe what you read.
This paint is really good, I've done two wooden handrails on a steel (external) stair case and they look really good and the rain just bounces of them, the instructions say dries in 16 hours but in my case I left it over 24 hours and when I went to give them a second coat the first coat was still a little tacky. I was in a hurry to get the handrails on the stairs for obvious reasons and even after 3 days the paint was still slightly tacky in places, enough to get it on your hands when touching it, it's been about 8 days since the job was complete and happy to say that the paint is finally dry (I don't use the stairs every day so it may have been dry for 3 or 4 days), I WOULD buy this paint again but knowing what I know now I would plan the job differently .

Great price.
Very good price. Very carefully packed in a sealed plastic bag, and plenty of padding in the box. Significantly cheaper than Wickes, and next day delivery. Just had one door to do, after two coats 80% paint still left in the can.

NOT one coat
Not very thick at all, and definitely not one coat. It was streaky and watery. Painting my front door and used a dark grey primer and it’s still extremely streaky - god job I didn’t use white otherwise I’d be in for a three coat (and three day) job!
