AngelusAngelus Leather Paint 4oz-Grey

I ordered this paint because my son wanted to touch up his worn Nike's so they looked nicer for school and going out with the family. It arrived on time and he has already painted his Nike's and he's very happy with the results. I also bought paint brushes to make it easy for him. Paint applied & matched real well so my boy is happy that makes Momma happy!

This stuff worked well. I was able to transform a chair the cats had destroyed into a matching living room furnishing. This product isn’t supposed to be used in isolation though: I had to order two bottles of it and 2 bottles of the thinner, and one bottle of the glaze. The thinner never really mixes into the paint, so it looks a bit streaked in places, however it’s barely noticeable. I wouldn’t have used this to change the color of an expensive new piece, but it was perfect for saving an old chair headed for certain doom.

Great product and quality

I tried this on an ottoman before I used it on my sofas. I didn't know to mix the 1st coat with water, but so far it looks great. IAlso tried it on a terrible looking fake leather cushion after treating it with bond n flex and it looks almost as good. I was about to throw the pleather sofa away. I think I will try to fix it instead. I just wish I could get bigger bottles than 4oz. If it winds up not holding up, I will update my review.

Wow! I got some cheap used chairs (green) and hoped that a product like this existed. Within five minutes, my chair was transformed. This stuff is phenomenal but I do have some pointers (I painted four and screwed up a bit on one). Put several thin coats on and make sure to put the paint on the brush and spread (don’t put any drops of paint on the furniture or thing you’re painting). It dried really quickly and took three light coats.I only used 1/2 of a 4 oz bottle per chair. I ordered six bottles so I might just go paint my couch while I’m at it!I have an acrylic coating it suggests to add after you paint. I will do that but for now, after just drying two hours, the chairs look brand new and the paint is pliable like leather. It even has the same feel as before I painted it.

Works well but must be sealed if used on leather. If you do not seal this product it will just wipe off. This is paint and not a dye. The color was a near-identical match and the luster was great. Again you have to use a clear sealer to keep the product on the surface. The best way to apply it was with cotton or wool dabbers. Using brushes or other medium caused streaks.

I’m not sure why but my bottle doesn’t look like the one portrayed in the image, OTHER THAN THAT good buy! I LOVE LOVE LOVE angelus paint!

Great product. I was able to repaint a faded leather chair and it came out beautiful it was easy to use. I do suggest getting more then one bottle if your doing a arm chair because you will need multiple coats

Used for repainting small leather barstools, Colour is great. The surface is a bit sticky now but didn’t bother me.

used this paint to revamp a black leatherette bed frame . gave it 2 thin coats and quick and easy to use
