They are a good value for the price, and they get the job done. I like the fact that you can put a photo in the front and back covers, or you can make a cover for the album and put that in there. I will say that it's more difficult to insert a photo in the cover than it is to put it into one of the pages, but the photos slide into the pages easily. I would rather the pages were top-loading instead of side-loading, because the photos are more likely to slip out a bit, and the plastic sleeves/photos may catch against each other as the pages are turned. It's not a big deal, though. I have not had any problems with the pages tearing, or with sturdiness in general, but I have only put the albums through very gentle use.
