Easy to use.
Works great on my straight hair. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Didn’t take long to curl. Waited until my hair was dry.

Just the right tool
I purchased this to use on synthetic wood wigs. It has worked wonderfully. The low setting and plastic bristles are perfect for how I want to use it. I appreciate the cord doesn't tangle up it moves along with the brush.Depending what your need is, this is a great tool.

Works for me
This works well to dry and style my hair at the same time -- much the same as a stylist working with a blow dryer and round brush, but requiring less coordination. Others have found the tool underpowered, but it works fine on my hair, which is thin and fine. I deducted a star for the wild goose chase I encountered while trying to register the warranty. The enclosed instructions refer to a page on the manufacturer's website which is no longer there. Instead, we are supposed to call customer service to register the product. You can imagine how well that works.

Great Styling Brush
I love this blower brush. I had one years and years ago I have been trying to replace for probably 20 years. I finally found this new one. It is lightweight and it is not loud. It is a 1/2 inch larger in diameter than my old one, but I just wind my hair tighter. Curls come out just like you want. Love this one.

Poor quality
The Hot Tools Pro Artist Hot Air Styling Brush, despite its sleek professional look and hefty price tag, falls markedly short in real-world performance. Its ceramic barrel heats unevenly, creating odd hot spots that either don’t style effectively or risk singeing delicate ends. While the handle boasts airflow vents for comfort, they direct heat straight onto your palm—making longer styling sessions uncomfortably warm. The bristles, intended to offer tension and glide, tend to snag and tangle hair, negating any salon-like smoothing you hoped to achieve. Instead of a glossy blowout, what you get is a frizzy, inconsistent finish—and a frustrated user juggling sections and redoing passes far more than necessary. All told, it delivers far less artistry and far more aggravation.

Trying to love it
So I’ve used this round styling brush 3 separate times now and am still trying to convince myself to love it, but I can’t. It’s nice, but not “WOW” like I was hoping for.Pros: Inexpensive price point. I believe I paid under $30 for this item. Came in the original box, unopened and brand new, and item arrived on time. I like that it has heat settings (high and low) and a curl release button. Long cord is also a plus. The comb/teeth seem to glide through the hair with ease as long as it is brushed through well before using.Cons: Firstly, I immediately noticed that it doesn’t have much air flow. It’s pretty loud, but seems like the noise doesn’t match the little output coming out. Secondly, this item is probably much better for those with short/medium hair. I have pretty long hair and have a hard time using this without it getting tangled, despite the curl release button. Also, the teeth seem pretty sturdy on the brush which is nice, but also will feel unpleasant if you run along your scalp. All in all, this item was ok but not what I was hoping for. You get what you pay for, and this curling brush is definitely one that rings true to that saying. I’ve seen other comments of people stating that this was great for wigs and shorter hair, and I’d have to say I agree. Not great for longer hair (and I’d even say this probably wouldn’t be great for those with thick or course hair either due to it getting easily tangled).

Easy and excellent quality
I always try to have a spareCurling brush in case the older one wears out... this makes styling my hair a breeze and doesn't fry my fragile hair like a curling iron does

Excellent Hair Styling Tool!
I've been using these hair styling tools for over 20 years! It used to be manufactured by Helen of Troy and I bought them from Sally Beauty Supply stores. Now, it is called "Hot Tools" and is sold through the Helen of Troy company in Texas. It has always been the same tool with some minor changes here and there. FIRST, you need to know it is NOT A HAIR DRYER! It is a hot air "styling tool". You can use it on your dry hair, or you can wash your hair and dry it with a dryer, leaving it damp, then use this styling tool. I buy the 1-1/2 " size because I want a more relaxed curl. My hair is very straight, thick, and finely textured. This tool makes it so easy for me to get ready in the mornings. I just grab a chunk of hair and count to 15 or more and release. I've never had it tangle my hair! I probably use it on 6 or 8 sections of my hair while counting to 15, each time and I'm done! Doesn't get much easier than that! The tool lasts a long time, 3 or 4 years, with daily use. You DO need to keep lint out of the air intake area at the end of the tool. I occasionally use a straight pin, with the tool off and unplugged, to gently lift out any lint that might collect there. It probably works best for short to medium hair. I've used it for both. I also used it on the ends of hair when I had long hair. You just can't wind your long hair around it. I highly recommend this great styling tool!
